Trusted teacher: Are you studying at university and considering a carrier in law or public policy? Or are you in school and looking for a way to stand out in your university applications? Or maybe you already are a member of your local debating/mooting society or of a MUN and just would like some help? Debating (or mooting in the legal sphere) is a way of orally presenting and defending arguments on a set topic. To do well, a participant needs a range of skills - from being able to speak clearly and concisely to being able to quickly analyse the argument of the opposing side and come up with a counter in a matter of minutes. Debating takes a lot of intelligence and a lot of preparation, but there is no better feeling than the triumph of having defended your position with facts and logic. In this class, I will take you through all the basics of debating. For example, we will talk about (and practice) how to effectively introduce, explain and defend a position as well as what to do when presented with a dissenting view. I will explain, using the exercises I designed while teaching debating internationally, what makes a strong argument, introducing you to the world of logics. I will also use my experience participating in and coaching teams for debating competitions such as the prestigious international Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot to teach you to think like a debater and to captivate the attention of judges and other listeners with impeccable advocate-like presentation manner, outperforming the opposition both on content and on style. Would you like to become a pro debater? Then contact me today!

A Quran teacher's teaching style often includes interactive methods like discussions, demonstrative teaching for proper Tajweed recitation, and personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs. Repetitive practice for memorization and the use of multimedia resources help enhance learning. Positive reinforcement and feedback ensure students stay motivated and confident in their progress. A Quran teacher's methodology refers to the structured approach and techniques used to teach the Quran effectively. Here’s a concise breakdown of common methodologies: 1-Tajweed Instruction: Focus on teaching the proper rules of Quranic pronunciation and recitation, with detailed attention to articulation points and phonetic rules. 2-Memorization Techniques (Hifz): Utilize repetitive recitation, verse-by-verse memorization, and regular revision to help students memorize the Quran, while building strong retention skills. 3-Tafsir (Interpretation): Teach the meanings and context of the verses, connecting them to practical life applications, moral lessons, and historical significance to deepen understanding. 4-Active Learning: Encourage students to participate in discussions, ask questions, and engage with the material through reflection, promoting critical thinking and personal connection to Quranic teachings. 5-Use of Multimedia Tools: Integrate audio, video, and digital resources to aid in listening, visualization, and interactive learning, making the material more accessible and engaging for different learning styles. What makes me a great teacher is my passion for the subject, which inspires students, along with patience and adaptability to meet their diverse learning needs. Your strong communication skills create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable engaging and asking questions. Your commitment to continuous learning ensures that you always provide the best educational experience.

Samia
I look forward to my lessons, they did an excellent job at immersing me from day one. I had some basic understanding of composition, vocab etc. and they immediately matched my level of understanding. I don’t feel any time is wasted. Within two minutes of meeting with my tutor, we began learning. I am super impressed by Emna and hope to continue my learning until I am fluent. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I had my first ever Russian lesson with Ilia and I enjoyed it so much! He's very patient and organised and showed up to the first class with excellent materials pre-prepared. He explains everything in a clear manner. I'm looking forward to our future classes. If you're a beginner don't be afraid to book a class with Ilia.
