Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to everyone accessing
Apprentus.co.uk.
Apprentus.co.uk reserves the right to modify at any time
these general conditions, by posting a new version on the site.
1. Purpose of the
site
The purpose of the website of Apprentus.co.uk is to connect Teachers and Students.
It allows the creation of profiles for teachers and
students and the posting and distribution of classes.
2. Registration, access and termination
Registration for the services is through the www.apprentus.co.uk internet website.
Data and information that you provide must be accurate, consistent with reality and can in no way induce the addressee in error.
You must be an adult to post a class. There is no minimum age to access courses published on the site. Apprentus reserves the right to refuse a registration if these terms and conditions are not met.
After registration, the user will have access to his account with the email address he provided and his password. The user who has lost his password has the ability to request a new password via the website of Apprentus.
The user and Apprentus may terminate their contract and / or terminate the user registration at any time, without having to justify on both sides.
Any cancellation will be via the contact form on the website or by e-mail.
Apprentus reserves the right to terminate the registration of a user who has violated any of these terms and conditions.
3. Student and Teacher Status
Students are entering into a business relationship directly with Apprentus. When a Student chooses a Teacher from Apprentus website, the Student is hiring Apprentus to provide services to you through our network of independent Teachers. You acknowledge that Teachers are independent contractors who operate a separate and distinct business from Apprentus. As such, we do not control the manner or method of service to you, exercise no control over the working relationship and do not warrant the service of any Teacher.
Teacher relationship with Apprentus is that of an independent contractor, and nothing in these Terms of Use, or any agreement is intended to create a partnership, agency, employment or similar relationship between Teachers and Apprentus. Teachers are solely responsible for all tax returns and payments required to be filed with, or made to, any state or local tax authority with respect to compensation from their Students.
No part of your compensation will be subject to withholding by us for the payment of any social security or any other employee payroll taxes.
Teachers are not authorized to make any representation, contract, or commitment on Apprentus behalf unless specifically requested or authorized by us in writing to do so.
4. Functioning of the website and connections between Teachers and Students
The content of each class can be regularly edited and updated to confirm the availability the teacher - or to be removed by Apprentus.
Before the payment for the class, contact between students and teachers are only made with the message or booking system of Apprentus.
To facilitate the relationship between users, Apprentus reserves the right to verify, filter, modify, maintain and / or remove internal message before sending them to the addressees.
To help students find the best teachers for their needs, Apprentus might ask a maximum of five interested teachers to contact the student if they are able to help. None of student personal information, including email address, will be shared.
Connections with the objective to request or provide competing or illegal services/products, unsolicited email commercial ... are not allowed.
Apprentus retains the right to directly contact teachers and students to facilitate the Commercial relation if necessary.
As an advertiser, Apprentus cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information contained in the class descriptions and the profiles of the teachers.
Apprentus cannot guarantee the payments that happen outside the website of Apprentus for the private lessons.
5. Publication of
the classes
After signing up, the user has access to his account. He
may at any time change his profile and manage his classes.
The publication of the classes is free of charge.
Classes must not contain false information, illegal or
likely to mislead students into error. If deemed necessary, Apprentus reserves
the right to modify a class or profile in its sole discretion, without the user
being notified, and without having to provide justification.
Classes that do not conform to the purpose of the site,
its terms of use, or with incorrect e-mail address will be deleted.
Classes cannot, in their description, include elements to
find the contact details of the author without using Apprentus.co.uk.
Apprentus reserves the right to modify, delete or ask the
author to change the published classes in question.
The teacher cannot in any case expect any compensation. He
will have to change his published classes to allow their publications.
6. Class
fees, billing and payments
You understand and agree to abide by Apprentus teacher and student payment policies.
You agree that you are willing to pay all costs associated with the services of Apprentus. These costs include but are not limited to: (a) a teacher’s hourly rate as listed; (b) cancellation fees as described in a teacher’s cancellation policy when ordering the lesson; and (c) the commission arrangement between the student and Apprentus.
The exact price of a class is always displayed on the site www.apprentus.co.uk on the page of the class and booking interface. Payment of a booked class can be done either online by debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, or bank transfer.
7. Guarantee

Telecommunication costs to www.apprentus.co.uk website are
the sole responsibility of the user.
Apprentus doesn’t guarantee that the operation of its
services is continuous, fast, fully secure or without minor bugs.
Apprentus cannot be held responsible for the loss of
information, interruption or malfunction of its services. Apprentus cannot be
held liable for false statements and prejudices resulting from them.
All other warranties, express or implied, are excluded.
8. Applicable law
These terms and conditions are subject to English law. In
case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before taking any legal
action. Failing settlement, these terms will be used as the legal basis and the
courts of the judicial district of London will have jurisdiction.
