I find this very useful to ensure you are progressing with the guitar at a good pace. I have a strong background in music theory and if the student wishes this can be an integral part of the lessons. Personally, I enjoy teaching theory through the songs you have chosen to learn, analyzing what we play and developing your own intuitive theoretical understanding through this, in relation to your chosen musical genres. Although I am well aware that many students do not feel connected to learning music theory, in which case we can focus more purely on the playing and performance aspects. Great teacher! I started acoustic guitar lessons from zero and I have learned so much with Sergio, he is an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable and patient, he also encourage you to keep practicing to achieve your goals while providing you with very useful material to do it. I really recommend Sergio as a music teacher, he plays a lot of instruments.
