Hi my name is Daniils, I am Latvian born concert violinist which at this time 2 years based in The Netherlands. I am member of the Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds and member of the ‘’Stift International Festival” in the Het Stift directed by Daniel Rowland. I have good experience of the violin lessons giving from 2020. Got my primarily education with Nely Sarkisjan at Emils Darzins School of Music in Riga, then studied in Moscow at Gnessin School of Music with Alexey Lundin after graduating college in 2021 got the diploma as an Artist and children teacher. And then after got same teaching experience in Riga until 2022. Now I am studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with prof. Ilya Grubert and at Davidsbundler Academie with prof. Daniel Rowland. I am offering lessons for beginners, advanced musicians and amateurs with no age limit. My mission is to help people to begin love the music and avoid bad body positioning for prevention heath harm. I am looking forward to all my students to make a personal program of the developing their skills as a concerting solo, chamber music violinist. Also online lessons via Zoom are available.

My name is Fabienne and I am 17 years old. Last school year I successfully completed my VWO with music, among other things. As a result, I now have a gap year and I know all the music theory. I have been playing the piano for 8 years with great pleasure. I already teach piano to both young and old, with the motto that everyone can learn to play the piano! My lessons are always calm and I make sure that the student understands everything I explain. I'd rather explain a subject 20 times so that you understand it, than go through it quickly once and you don't understand it. Playing the piano is the most beautiful thing there is, but for many people one subject stands in the way of starting to play the piano. That subject is reading music. Reading notes is not only super useful to continue playing the piano, but it is also very useful to have as a basis for the theory of music. The lessons can be planned according to the student's wishes. It is possible to learn to read music in combination with piano lessons (the way I personally recommend), but it is certainly also possible to just learn to read music. Hopefully we'll see each other soon!

In the first lesson, Younes asks some questions about what your experience is playing the piano, what kind of music (genre) you like, and what you encounter while playing the piano. The lessons are positive and solution-oriented, we look at what you need and want to achieve. Furthermore, Younes will give an introduction about the piano and the basic techniques, and after that it is of course the intention to play :)

I will help my students know all about music theory alongside with the classical guitar technique. Experience in teaching students from 7 years old to +50 years old. Adaptation to the students tastes will be the key point for a good work!

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. In Fundamentals of Music Theory, students will start from the very beginning of music theory, and learn the core foundations required to read music. Topics covered in this course include but are not limited to: reading the staff, identifying notes, identifying key signatures, understanding time signatures, music vocabulary, and more. This is a great class for anyone wanting to get into music, singing, performing, or playing an instrument.

I teach online via Zoom, using software which allows you to see the exact keys I'm playing on my keyboard. My teaching method is to focus on whatever type of music the student loves most, and to build from there. I believe that many people give up their dream of playing an instrument simply because they aren't inspired enough, so my goal is to instil a love for music, whatever that means personally for each individual student. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace and rhythm. I have some students who like to have a regular weekly or biweekly lesson, and others who just get in touch once in a while when they have digested the previous lesson and feel ready to build on it. Whatever the case, I am very flexible and we can figure out what works best for you. A bit about me: Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I returned to London to complete my master's in jazz piano at the Guildhall School of Music, and during this time performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts, The Vortex and many other venues across the UK. I then spent two years in South America learning about salsa and Cuban music. I now mainly work as a transcriber, writing sheet music for all instruments including full Big Band scores. I have also worked extensively in musical theatre, most recently as musical director for 'Jersey Boys', and on the first US national tour of 'Summer: the Donna Summer Musical'.
