Trusted teacher: As a violin teacher, my goal is to create a positive learning environment while cultivating the student’s love for music. I believe in developing music-reading as well as ear-training skills in my student’s music education. I work hard to tailor each lesson to meet the individual student’s musical goals, level and learning style. I have experience teaching students from age 3 to adult and from absolute beginner to college-level students. As a conservatory trained violinist, I teach a solid foundation in violin technique, theory and repertoire. I currently maintain a private violin studio in Yokohama and one in my home in Kawasaki. I can teach in both English and Japanese. Learning to play the violin is a lifelong process. Music can lead us to new opportunities, meet interesting people and travel to unique places. Everyone can learn to play the violin. It is never too late to start! I look forward to being a part of you or your child’s musical journey. Trusted teacher: Teacher and violinist, graduated from IMEP in Namur. Committed and passionate about pedagogy, I am delighted to be able to accompany you in learning your instrument! My classes are for all students of all ages and all levels. Having had several teachers, I have variable methods which adapt according to an observation made beforehand on the student. These courses will be approached both from a technical point of view and from a musical point of view and then from a point of view of concern for interpretation. I try to put people at ease above all and to be as human as possible. Mutual respect is obviously required. In my opinion, it is first and foremost the human side that will determine the quality of a course and the progress of a learner. Obviously, this is not enough for the quality of a course, here is what I rely on to maintain this aspect: The bulk of the work will be defined with the student, according to his needs but also according to his expectations. I do not impose only one technique or method. Indeed, thanks to my educational master's degree and my experience, I have at my disposal various tools that I will adjust according to the individual I have in front of me. Being a fresh graduate, I am trained in methods ranging from the oldest to the most recent. Very patient and involved, I am sure that we will find the best in order to move you forward as quickly and solidly as possible. I make it a point of honor to make our work efficient and of quality, but hidden under the signs of pleasure and fun above all.

Viola and Violin Lessons: Technique, Improv, and a Healthy Relationship with your Instrument (Malibu)
Zachary
What I enjoy most about my lessons with Zachary is how personable he is. You will not find a more patient or kinder instructor. For me, I decided that I wanted to learn how to play the violin later in life. I have never played an instrument my entire life. Zachary did not make me feel like my new start was impossible and he does not patronize. These are things that I have encountered from teachers in the past. Zachary meets you where you are in your abilities and helps you realize your potential. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help you on your journey. I highly recommend Zachary as a teacher if you are beginner to the most advanced levels. I look forward to each session! If you’ve read this far, stop what you’re doing and book him.

Violin lessons, Music theory, Musical language for any age or level! (Groningen)
Anna
Anna is the best! I was afraid of the lessons at the beginning but she is super cool and knows how to teach. I have learned a lot. Violin is a really complicated instrument but she is always looking for different ways to teach with many exercises and the most important part she is really patient. I have had a really good experience learning violin with her.

Alba
Only had one lesson so far but I will continue. Alba was really friendly and knowledgeable. The time flew past and I came out feeling much happier in myself. Thank you so much. Highly recommend, especially for complete beginners such as myself.
