Trusted teacher: Music is one of the cornerstones of a healthy and happy life and it would be my pleasure to help guide you through part of your musical journey. I teach all skill levels and ambitions, whether you want to play bass a hobby, set up a band with friends or want to prepare for a conservatory audition, I can help you. In my teaching I try to give you the best foundational skills to achieve your musical goals. This means a high level of customization is possible if you have an idea of what direction you want to head down, but I will of course guide you on the way as well. As a bassist my strong suits are Rock, Pop, RnB and Neo Soul but through the years I have recorded and played live shows in a host of different genres (Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, Ska, Hard rock etc) so my teaching is by all means not contained to a few genres, I believe having a good overview over different kinds of music is very important. I am originally from Rotterdam, the Netherlands and have been playing bass since I was 13 years old. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Electric Bass from BIMM Berlin and have studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (Summer 2018( and Holland College in Canada (2019-2020). As a session bassist in Berlin I have recorded in many great studios with Grammy award winning and nominated producers and engineers. Apart from this I play for multiple artists and have played shows in venues such as Festsaal Kreuzberg, Columbiatheater, Lido, Badehaus, Maschinenhaus, Kantine Am Berghain, Privatclub and many more. Next to this I teach students both in person and online and occasionally work at a music venue, basically I do anything to always be in a musical environment! I can't wait to get started with helping you achieve your musical goals!

Trusted teacher: This class is for all music enthusiasts, whether you’re just getting started and need a solid foundation or already experienced and looking to level up. You'll pick up the skills, confidence, and creative freedom to develop your own sound and workflow. I offer pro training in a relaxed, hands-on environment, with lessons tailored to your pace and musical style. I'm DJ, producer, live performer, and the founder of DJ School Berlin. I’ve been making music since a young age and turned it into my profession. Whether you're into DJing or music production, these courses will give you the technical know-how, creative tricks, and industry insights to help you make the most of your music. Passionate about sonic experiences above all else, it's behind the decks and my machines that I get my kicks the most, and I love to share my passion with others! I have my own style of music, but would be more than happy to adapt to yours for learning purposes. I perform regularly in Berlin in clubs such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Hoppetosse, RSO, Golden Gate, etc., as well as abroad, most recently in Belgrade, London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc. ---- Sessions usually last 2 hours, and can take place face-to-face or online, solo or in a group. . Group sessions are friendly, less expensive, more dynamic in terms of learning and interesting because you get to observe another student correcting TPs or or discussing techniques, which leads to valuable insights. . In 1-1 if you're more comfortable solo, and for more effective learning focused on you and your pace. I'll give you the keys to : - Get to grips with Ableton Live and set up an efficient workflow - Understand sound structure and audio manipulation - Compose your own tracks and develop your artistic identity - Explore different types of synthesis and sound design - Master the use of effects and audio processing - Structure, arrange, and bring your ideas to life - Learn mixing techniques and how to properly export your projects - If you're already experienced, dive into advanced production techniques to refine your craft I'll also accompany you and advise you on the purchase of your equipment/plugins/tools. Classes take place either at the DJ School Berlin studio in Kreuzberg, equipped with 2 CDJs, 2 vinyl decks, workstation, synths, drum machines and controllers or online with screen sharing and quality audio without latency or loss. Sessions are always followed by review sheets and homework assignments. They are a mix of theory and practice, and we also cover the values and precepts of this art form, giving you lots of pro tips and tricks, as well as creative surprises ;) Don't hesitate to contact me for more information, I can send you a detailed document explaining all aspects of the training, the techniques covered, as well as the essential theoretical knowledge. You'll develop a complete understanding of the material, learn how to tell your musical story, create, record, finish, export and share your work. I am looking forward to playing music with you.
