I am an experienced and enthusiastic guitar tutor from Leeds, England, living in Berlin. I have a bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar from Leeds College of Music although I also play and teach rock, pop, funk, folk, and indie music. In lessons, I aim to get students to play something they know as soon as possible in order to get excited about progress early on. We balance this with paying attention to proper technique and having one eye on the theory behind what we are playing to broaden your understanding of how music works. I am actively engaged in playing within the music scene and have a real excitement for all types of music, whether it’s learning your first chords on guitar or working on improvisation or music theory. We'll go at the right pace for you and achieve your goals together. I have experience teaching all ages and abilities of students, having taught in primary and secondary schools as well as private tuition for adults. From complete beginners to preparing a student for their college auditions. Lessons are tailored to suit the needs of the student, in order to have lessons that push you to learn to the best of your ability whilst still being fun and musical.

I'm a songwriter and performer, producing and performing music using Live for over a decade. I've been working on Live as my main DAW for recording, editing, arranging and mixing. Hi, I’m Cassie—a British jazz saxophonist, award-winning composer, and Trinity Laban Conservatoire graduate, now based in Berlin. I’m currently looking for a couple of private saxophone and/or composition students who are keen to develop their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Saxophone Lessons: With a strong background in Jazz and improvised music, I offer saxophone lessons tailored to each student’s needs—whether you’re preparing for ABRSM or Royal College exams (or other equivalent examination boards), exploring jazz improvisation, or just playing for fun. As a performer, I’ve played at major festivals and venues across the UK, USA & Europe such as Glastonbury Festival (UK, SXSW (USA) and Paris Jazz Festival (FR). I am still active as a touring band-leader/artist and I bring that real-world experience into my teaching. Composition Lessons: As a classical composer, my work spans orchestral, chamber, and jazz ensemble writing, with commissions from leading arts organisations and orchestras - recent commissions include the London Symphony Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic. My lessons focus on notation, orchestration, and arranging—whether you’re composing for small ensembles or larger-scale works. I hold a BMus Hons degree in composition from Trinity Laban Conservatoire (London) where I studied with American composer Stephen Montague and British composer Andrew Poppy. Hi, I'm Chris, 33 years old and would be happy to explore the guitar with you. I completed my Bachelor of Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim and mainly play jazz, funk, blues, rock and samba/bossa nova. When teaching, on the one hand it is very important to me to respond to your wishes and musical goals and on the other hand to convey instrumental-specific basics. And all in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space for trying things out and having fun with the music, because that's what making music is all about!

The hours are designed according to your musical interests. Since each person has his or her own individual approach to music, it is logical and, in my experience, more effective to work with this in a specific way. So, instead of a rigid curriculum in which you lose interest in a short time, I would like to support you in achieving your personal plans and discovering musical possibilities! Depending on your interests, motivation, previous knowledge and musical taste, the following focal points are coordinated: Technique (tone formation, breathing, approach, intonation, finger technique, etc.), ear training, sense of rhythm, improvisation, note reading, music theory. Cello is not just an orchestral or chamber music instrument! Learn modern styles and techniques of playing cello, whilst also building a strong traditional technique. This is a good class for students who already have some music training and wish to expand their knowledge into performative or production areas - such a using loopstation, sound design on the cello, finding your 'voice' as an artist. Or simply for those who wish to explore music outside of traditional genres - learn how cello is used in genres such as electronic music, pop music or rock!

Hi my name is Anne. I play the violin and the viola and I have studied at the conservatory at ArtEZ Jazz & Pop. During my studies I started to build by violin teacher practice. Apart from my private students I taught at the music school "Muziekdorp" in Wijchen and coached a band of high school students for a year. Next to teaching I play concerts with the "Metropole Academy", I have a string quartet "The Four Frogs in te Woods", and I'm playing in a Folk string duo. Students of all ages and categories are welcome in my lesson. Classical, Folk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, and free improvisation are some of the genres you can discover in our lessons. I did a Teacher Training with the American Violinist Mark O'Connor and finished this training with a diploma. His method is a very beautiful and comprehensive way to learn the variety of the violinistic possibilities. We will play a lot of music together. Starting with a correct violin posture you will develop a brought variety of techniques to find your own style. Being able to play an instrument is an enrichment for everyone! I'm a music teacher( flutist, pianist) that graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Classical Music). I teach flute or piano lessons to students of all age and level.
