Trusted teacher: Trained at the Music Academy International, I propose private lessons of Guitar, Singing, and/or Audio Production centered on amplified music (funk, soul, jazz, rock, blues, etc.) and adapted to the requests of each student. My classes are open to all, children and adults, beginners or advanced. I attach great importance to the understanding of the technical tools implemented in the interpretation of the pieces, a typical lesson is therefore divided between technical work with clear explanations and actual practice on songs to play or sing. If the student is interested, I also teach the more theoretical aspects of music, such as harmony (scales, chords, modes, improvisation), music theory, rhythm, ear training, and deciphering. I also offer coaching sessions. These are non-regular sessions to target work on specific aspects of the requested repertoire. Each lesson is accompanied by work material (paper or audio) to practice at home. For guitar lessons, an instrument can be made available, for singing lessons, I accompany the student on the piano or the guitar (it is also possible to use backing tracks when the key and tempo are right ) and for audio production, I can provide the software required to start on any operating system (Win, Mac, and Linux) (I don't work with pirated software). Classes are given in my studio in Etterbeek, 5-minute walk from La Chasse. I also teach group lessons for singing, do not hesitate to contact me for more information. Flexible schedule (daytime or evening).

Trusted teacher: First of all, if you tell yourself that: - you don't know how to sing because one day someone told you that you "sing badly" or "wrong" - you love to sing but only alone in the shower, in your car, or anywhere/when no one can hear you - you would like to approach practice in a way other than "classical" musical learning (--> music theory, scales, restriction to a single range, etc.) - you would like to gain more confidence in your vocal, rhythmic and/or breathing abilities - you would like to work on your "musical ear", your (stage) presence and/or different techniques of artistic expression (vocal) - you would like to learn more about your instrument which is your body, your breath and your voice in order to tame it and experience the ease and opulence in your singing ...and you find yourself (partially) in one or the other or each of these statements, it doesn't matter: there is a good chance that this course is made for you! Meet your voice. Explore the places of resonance in your body, the range of your emotions, the chants of your thoughts. Let yourself be inspired...exhale... Our body, this instrument - nay, this “nomadic cathedral” with its vaults, its alcoves, ... its multiple spaces of resonance - we are often intrinsically rather than intimately linked to it. The vibrations that we emit when we sound our breath, transforming into song, can prove to be a powerful tool in the resolution of tensions, the calming of the mind, but also in the (re)discovery of oneself through our body, our senses and our voice, this musicality that is unique to us. We experience the world on a daily basis through our body and our senses, and the voice allows us to share these experiences with others, both in its daily and extra-daily communicative function; artistic; poetic. But when the spoken voice gives way to the singing voice, Music allows us to go even further... Sometimes even to touch what is called the Ineffable. Oh yeah... Just that..! Don't panic, everything in its time ;)

Trusted teacher: WHAT - Collective stage improvised singing Two days to dare to improvise! The circlesong is a musical structure inspired by the singer Bobby McFerrin in which a person is at the center of a group arranged in a circle and freely improvises small musical patterns (loops) that she distributes to parts of the circle and that she changes according to her inspiration. This course is for anyone who wants to enjoy a weekend of diving in the world both crazy and meditative improvised singing. During this course, I will offer games and tools aimed at gradually introducing you to the practice of circlesong. We will put ourselves in the position of the enthusiastic explorer who is thirsty for discovery by alternating between moments of experimentation with improvisation, moments of seeking cohesion and listening within the group, moments of work on rhythm, precision and arrangement, moments of attention on our bodily expression... We will approach all this in different forms of collective cacophony where everyone sings for themselves without anyone hearing it, the jovial solo where a person expresses himself in front of the group and delights in the support she receives from the singers who accompany him. The singing time will be interspersed with small exchanges to verbalize our feelings, our questions and all that wants to express themselves. The objective of this course is to put one foot inside the circle and taste what it feels like to be at the center of a group that sings with you and for you. And for those who choose to stay among the circle of singers, it will be an opportunity to savor the auditory delights that will come out of our voices while working on their place within the choir (comfort and pleasure in repetition, precision voice...).

Francesca
Francesca is a committed, generous teacher, and her classes are the perfect mix between structure and creativity! I've made huge progress and gained self-confidence since the first lesson, thanks to regular, targeted exercises to train my voice and improve my breathing. Francesca understands well the issues and potential strengths of my voice, and adapts the class accordingly. Really happy so far, so I can only recommend :)

Singing lessons by teacher with Master / 20 years of experience (Watermael-Boitsfort)
Elena
I have already learned so much useful exercices in only two lessons with Elena that I can barely keep up my own workout on the side between courses! It is dense lessons where you learn many things in a methodic way, and yet she still manages to get me to relax in no more than 5 minutes, even after a tough day of work. She has a cheerful and gentle personnality, I'm making progress, and it's strictly good times!
