Unveil the science behind the art of ballet. This unique class explores the biomechanics of classical dance, breaking down the fundamental principles of posture, alignment and movement. Designed for beginners and intermediate dancers, this course is especially helpful for dance students who struggle with mastering ballet techniques. From pliés to pirouettes, we’ll analyze how the body works to achieve the elegance, precision, and strength that define ballet. By dissecting concepts like balance, turnout and the mechanics of jumps, students will gain a deeper understanding of the physical forces at play and how to optimize their technique. Whether you’re a dancer, teacher or simply curious about the science of movement, this course bridges the gap between artistry and anatomy to enhance your practice and appreciation for classical dance.
This workshop is designed for the youngest learners, it focuses on introducing art as a foundational tool for communication and self-expression. Through painting, drawing and crafting, children will explore colours, shapes and textures; nurturing their fine motor skills and imagination. Learning to draw is a vital step in their development, serving as one of the earliest ways they interpret the world around them and communicate their thoughts, emotions and ideas. Activities will encourage curiosity and creativity while fostering critical skills such as problem-solving, concentration and emotional expression. Children will build confidence and develop a love for artistic exploration that lays the groundwork for lifelong learning.

DRAWING, ILLUSTRATION, PERSPECTIVE - for beginners or advanced levels. Perfect for entrance exams to art schools or architecture studies!
Are you looking to improve your drawing skills or you don't even know where to start but you dream of an art career? Or perhaps you have entrance exams coming up for art school or architecture studies and you want to ensure you will pass? This is an individual course design depending on your request and your starting level. Each course includes lessons filled with instruction information, practice time and homework assignment. You can begin with Level 1 and continue further or choose to start on a specific level. Level 1 - This course is an absolute beginner level. You can hold a pencil and a brush but the starting is so stressful and confusing. You're scared of making a mistake, you don't know where to begin, you're getting lost when it comes to composition or shading whenever you start to draw. I GOT YOU! Those are very common feelings when you start to draw and it can be discouraging, give you a feeling of being stuck or just very dissatisfied with your art. In this course I will guide you through basic traditional art techniques such as pencil sketching, pen and ink drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. We will be studying composition, forms, shapes, structure and texture of different objects such as fabric, furniture, animal fur, plants etc. I’ll show you how to achieve depth in your shading, how to understand light, and the effect of fragility of plants or hardship and reflection of metal. I’ll teach you observation, things to look for in the drawing, but most of all I'll give you tools for future independent learning that will save you tons of time while figuring on your own! The key to success is your motivation and time you will dedicate to your homework practice. Level 2 - This course is directed towards people who have some basic understanding of traditional art media techniques such as pencil sketching, pen and ink drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting. Your art is currently your hobby, but you would like to change it into a career? Know more about art as a business model, get insights into career tips and opportunities. Or do you want to improve your sketching skills, learn to digitise your work, create digital illustrations in Procreate, or combine it all in your own unique way? Level 3 - Advanced. It will focus on your specific desire as an artist and adjust to your skills and technique preferences. During the first introduction skills, I’ll provide some exercises to see how you work and together we will find the way we can work and improve.

Online Resin and Texture Art classes. From beginner to Pro approach.
I am an experienced texture art tutor, specializing in resin, acrylic colors, acrylic paste, and white cement techniques. Over the years, I have successfully trained students of different skill levels, helping them refine their artistic abilities and develop their unique styles. My work has been well-received in the art community, and I have conducted numerous workshops focused on creative expression through texture and resin art. My approach is interactive and hands-on, ensuring that students get a practical learning experience rather than just theoretical knowledge. I believe in personalized guidance, where each student’s artistic journey is nurtured. Whether in 1-on-1 sessions or group classes, I encourage active participation, providing clear demonstrations and detailed feedback to help students master resin and texture art techniques with confidence. I conduct online classes via Zoom or other platforms, ensuring a highly interactive and engaging learning experience. My teaching style focuses on two-way communication, where students can freely ask questions and receive real-time feedback. Depending on students' preferences and time zones, I offer both 1-on-1 and group sessions to cater to different learning needs. While resin and texture art are open to all learners, I recommend my classes for adults aged 18+ due to the use of chemicals and materials that may not be suitable for children.

Idris
Painting Tutor: Discover and develop your artistic language
I am an artist and philosopher from Amsterdam currently living in Antwerp. I studied in London where I acquired a BA from Art Academy London and a BA in philosophy from St Mary's University London. Artistic development starts by identifying your artistic interest. As artists, we don’t always know why we draw and paint the things that we do. Yet they are not random. What captivates us or draws us towards certain artworks? This might be the tonal way in which light reflects, structural forms or mathematical division. The point being, is that we all have such aesthetic interests and step 1 is finding out what interests you! Step 2 is helping you express your interests through painting techniques, styles and materiality. But it all starts with you. What do you want to say? And how? I will help you do this through discussion, looking at your previous work (if you have any), introducing you to a LARGE variety of artists, potentially copying their styles. I adjust my classes according to your needs. The goal is simple: to come to understand your artistic interest, help you find techniques to express them and develop your artistic language. (Please note that just because you have found an artistic interest and a way to express it, it does not mean that you must do only one thing for the rest of your life. It is the downfall of creativity to repeat and paint the same way over and over again. Instead, allow your interests to drive your creativity. Let it be the starting point, venture out and discover it from various angles and ways of expressing it. But also be mindful that as we grow our interests can change and as they change, we must remain honest and respond accordingly such that our artistic language can also grow.) Have questions? Don’t hesitate to message me! I can tailor a class to your needs :)
