I can provide courses in political science subjects such as Introduction to Political Science, Comparative Political Ideologies, and all academic subjects related to the specialization. I also provide courses in international relations such as the lesson on international relations schools and their comparison. In addition to these courses, I can offer courses in comprehensive and specialized history (Middle Eastern history, European history, and American history).

I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

The teacher is a Ugandan PhD student in International History at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He won a Government of Uganda Scholarship to pursue his undergraduate studies at Gulu University, gaining a first-class degree in Bachelor of Arts Education (History and Economics). Isa is also a graduate of the University of Cambridge, where he studied for an MPhil in African Studies as a Commonwealth Scholar. He has more than eight years of teaching experience, both at the secondary school and university level. In the past, he has taught classes on European, British, African, US, Asian, and Middle East histories. My history classes are suitable for the 10, 11, 12, and 13-year-old UK and IGCSE students (Cambridge International Curriculum) and AS and A-Level students (UK and Cambridge International). The learners will study history from political, economic, cultural, and social perspectives. They will develop an interest in understanding the past. Besides learning historical concepts such as cause, consequence, change, and continuity, learners will also gain a deeper understanding of global issues. Above all, students will develop higher-order thinking skills.

With over one year experience in teaching and a decade long experience with adolescents and young adults, I, herein, present my course in "International Humanitarian Law". In today's globalized world where the effects and repercussions of a conflict are not confined within a single state, it becomes crucial to know what rules are in place that regulate conflict and provide protection to those who are vulnerable. Aiming to mitigate and prevent human suffering in an armed conflict, International Humanitarian Law gives us answers to questions, such as: who can and cannot be targeted and under which conditions; at what times does a protected person lose protection; who is a combatant; what distinguishes a combatant from a civilian; and, what protections are available to those who do not take part in an armed conflict. Amidst the many interstate conflicts, such as, Ukraine-Russia, Iran-Israel and Palestine-Israel conflicts, as well as the intrastate ones, such as in Sudan, having a working knowledge of International Humanitarian Law becomes even more vital as it re-establishes one's trust in law and humanity at such uncertain times as these ones. The class will chart the development of European, American and International art history from 1900 to the present day, beginning with Post-Impressionism and its off-springs Cubism and Expressionism, the move into Abstraction post-war, to Conceptualism and Minimalism of the 1960s and 1970s which still have significant relevance in today's Contemporary art world. The focus will be on the wider political issues that impacted art history of the time, thereby using art history as a novel and unique lens through which we can gauge world history events, and its politics, in a potentially new and interesting light.

This class is for fellow history lovers or those looking to learn more about history. I have a keen personal interest in various eras of history and a high knowledge on said eras. I mainly specialize in historical warfare, alike the second world war or the Napoleonic wars, as well at the politics of the eras of interest. This class is for mainly beginners, for people who wish to gain either more information on a specific historical era / event, or those who wish to learn about them in its entirety. This all being said, my main historical learning points range from the 1600s to modern day, anything previous and youll find me lacking, please keep this in mind when picking me! And again, keep in mind i mainly focus on the Warfare aspects and Political aspects.
