About Me

I have been teaching since I was thirteen, as a private one-on-one tutor. I am twenty one, currently studying at the University of London. My teaching style is calm and relaxed, I won't spoon-feed you answers but rather teach you how to work things out by yourself.

Teaching English for Children, or as a Second Language
As a Primary School Teacher and graduate from the prestigious Creative Writing MA at the University of East Anglia, as well as a native British speaker with a First in English (BA) to my name, I can help your child develop his or her English language skills (in the spoken or written form) in a variety of ways. First of all, my lessons are always tailored individually to my students, and as such, will always focus on what your child'd educational needs. Therefore, we may concentrate on writing in some lessons, speaking in others, or whatever it is we decide together that your child could benefit from working on. I am a friendly, warm, approachable, highly empathetic and passionate teacher, with an absolute love of learning, huge levels of experience in the field (six years working in Reception, Year 1 and 2 classrooms) and a desire to promote social change through education. If my lessons sound like something your child might be interested in, and if your child would like to advance his or her skills in both the written and spoken English, please feel free to get in contact, and we can go from there! Thank you, James

Introduction to History- Approaches, Methods and Historiography
Studying History can seem lengthy and boring at first, it's a lot of information and too vast to even memorise! You may often ask yourself, "is there a shortcut I can use to memorise so many dates and information?" One thing about History is, the more you think it's difficult, the more you lose interest in it! My classes are designed to tackle this lack of enthusiasm among students, because I've been through that phase making me more susceptible to students' needs and requirements. I begin with describing the meaning, purpose, and approaches to history answering basic questions like what is the need of studying history when we can instead look at the future! I use a step-by-step method to craft my course into a story-like narrative sparking curiosity among young minds. Be it American, Chinese, Japanese, Indian or European History, or Modern World History, you name it! I am an expert in South Asian History but my interests reach far and wide. The world is an interconnected space and I will make sure that my students understand the basics of history to tackle with contemporary issues more efficiently..and also ace their exams! '

French or Mathematics lesson in english or in french
French can be hard to learn especially if you don't have some motivation to do it. This is why I think that helping people learning it can make people appreciate the process of learning. I also did a Scientifique Baccalauréat (Math, Physics and Chemistry) and I study Economics and Management, I'll be able to teach Math until A-Levels. For History, it is one of my passion especially French History as it is the one I learned through school but I'll be able to adapt to the lecture your child follow

Private lessons in History-Geo, SES and English
I have always loved exchanging and passing on what I have learned. My mother being a German teacher, I have always been immersed in the world of education. I started tutoring when I was in high school, and I still do today. My journey : - Mention Very Good at the ES baccalaureate - Studied Sociology and Political Science at the University of Geneva - History and Spanish studies at the London School of Economics (LSE), First Class Honours. I help academically and psychologically students in History-Geography, SES and English. I explain the course in detail (if necessary), and we work on the methodology for each event, the organization and the planning of the work to be done. I can also follow your child in other subjects for the smallest classes. For example, I worked with two students in great difficulty (general average around 7-8 out of 20), and the latter obtained their baccalaureate, one of them with honors. I also worked with another student the previous year, who obtained the mention Very Good (with 19/20 in SES).

Primary: all subjects. College: French / History / Geography
Hello, daughter of a teacher, at ease with children and teenagers I came to London as an au pair where I discovered a patient, an ease, and a pedagogy allowing me to help children in their educational path. Graduated with a master's degree in business management, before launching out in my own professional career, I would like to help children / adolescents or adults to regain rigor, a rhythm as well as the pleasure of working. The current crisis has affected everyone, children of different social classes, of all levels and may have increased the shortcomings / difficulties of some. So I decided to put aside my professional goals in the trade to devote myself to refresher training, personalized follow-up and regular support from others. For children in primary I can help on all subjects, offer personalized content according to the level and difficulties of the child. For children in college, I can help with all subjects except mathematics. Do not hesitate to contact me for a more in-depth exchange. Hoping to be able to collaborate together, to help you or your child develop on the way to school.
