I am a native American English speaking instructor, editor, and journalist from Florida specializing in editing, the drafting of articles, text correction, and proofreading for a wide range of professionals & students across Belgium and Europe. I have written, ghostwritten, edited, or proofread a variety of articles, academic papers, theses, applications, CVs, and other documents for numerous satisfied academic and professional clients. My main background is primarily political/policy based, with a career writing on Anti-Competition actions and law (for PaRR-Global), but in my career and profession I have dealt with a far-range of subject matters including the Medical, Academic, Financial, Scientific, and Political fields. My name is Christian and I am a qualified solicitor back in my home country of New Zealand.I've recently moved to London and before I embark on my next professional adventure, I thought it might be a nice time to give back some of the knowledge I've collected over my studies and professional experience. I took great satisfaction when I helped my younger brother during his legal studies (and even more so when I admitted him to become a lawyer). I spent many years trying to grasp what the law is, how to write a 'legal opinion', how to write 'like a lawyer' - even how to 'think like a lawyer'. Surprisingly, all thise things are actually quite helpful even if you don't want to become a lawyer. Understanding the law can help you know your rights better, it can help you solve problems more logically, it can help you write more concisely and more persuasively. Anywhere you go or whatever you want to do, somewhere along the line the law will be involved - if ever so slightly. And the best part is, there is always more to learn! Even the finest judges, or the most distinguished King's Counsel don't know everything about the law (although they;d be pretty bloody close). What I offer: I offer coaching, mentoring, directing to children and young people to gain confidence in themselves in whatever they wish to pursue and build their performance skills. Whether this is preparing for their first time public speaking, support in preparing their GCSE/A-Level performances, or to have feedback on their first play, I am delighted to discuss what would suit you or your child and tailor it to your specific goals. Lessons are usually an hour but flexible to discussing other arrangements.

Learning a new language is so much fun, not to mention it can be very useful when travelling or going on holiday or even if it’s just learning for fun. I dedicate my time & knowledge to ensure I assist every student to their individual needs, whether that is assisting with their pronunciation, practicing writing and structuring paragraphs.
