I tailor each lesson according to my student needs. I allow for the first 10 minutes to “steam off” in English/Spanish to express requests, needs, doubts and/or clarifications. Then everything is mandatory in Italian! The only exception made is for improving translation skills, upon request. My academic background allows me to trace the etymology of any given word and to easily spot false-firends, enabling a durable memorisation of new vocabulary. Lessons usually focus on travelling, contemporary issues, specialised vocabulary of one’s own professional area, and practical vocabulary for daily life.
