I offer classes on History, Geography, and Political Science, with over 11 years' of experience in these subjects, both professionally and academically. I hold Bachelor's Degrees in both History and Political Science (from the University of Florida), as well as a Master's in Political Science, specifically European Politics (from KU Leuven). I have extensive experience in a wide range of historical and political subjects and have always had a keen interest in history and the social sciences. Additionally, previously I have been a journalist (dealing with Competition Law) and currently am an editor working on a wide variety of subjects for organizations such as the UNHCR and Goethe Institut, among others. I am capable of teaching and lecturing on numerous historical and political events and periods in history, with myself having specialized in European history, American history, African history, as well as the Medieval period and Antiquity.

I have studied at Cambridge, Oxford and Harvard. I completed my undergraduate Law degree, my Masters and a scholarship programme at each, respectively. I use my expertise to directly assist my students to achieve all of their goals. For this reason, I have a very high success rate. I have taught over 10,000 tutoring hours thus far, alongside my professional career - including at the University of Oxford. History and Political Science are intertwined subjects with multidisciplinary approaches. To study one of these, one must understand the other. I offer classes that teach either of the two subjects, as well as both (if required) with aspect to the other. How often have we wondered about historical events with respect to Politics? Do we know that the Romanovs were related to the British Royal Family and how their brutal killings was shaped by geopolitics of the era, or how Hitler's death was a highly controversial political debate? You see how history and politics cannot be separated. It is also undeniable that having knowledge of the two subjects can help you achieve higher marks and credits, as well as a deeper understanding and passion for the subjects.

Doctor in political science and graduate in economics (Master), I have been teaching humanities in English and French in various grandes écoles (IEP) and business schools (EDHEC, SKEMA) for more than ten years. For any A-level students who are looking for further help with politics, we can focus on one module per session and hone in on the theory of it and ensure the student knows examples. Additionally to this, come exam season we can practice how to write essays. As a former politics A-level student i know overwhelming the subject could be, so my role would be to help organise and go through the course.

With over one year experience in teaching and a decade long experience with adolescents and young adults, I, herein, present my course in "International Humanitarian Law". In today's globalized world where the effects and repercussions of a conflict are not confined within a single state, it becomes crucial to know what rules are in place that regulate conflict and provide protection to those who are vulnerable. Aiming to mitigate and prevent human suffering in an armed conflict, International Humanitarian Law gives us answers to questions, such as: who can and cannot be targeted and under which conditions; at what times does a protected person lose protection; who is a combatant; what distinguishes a combatant from a civilian; and, what protections are available to those who do not take part in an armed conflict. Amidst the many interstate conflicts, such as, Ukraine-Russia, Iran-Israel and Palestine-Israel conflicts, as well as the intrastate ones, such as in Sudan, having a working knowledge of International Humanitarian Law becomes even more vital as it re-establishes one's trust in law and humanity at such uncertain times as these ones.

The class will chart the development of European, American and International art history from 1900 to the present day, beginning with Post-Impressionism and its off-springs Cubism and Expressionism, the move into Abstraction post-war, to Conceptualism and Minimalism of the 1960s and 1970s which still have significant relevance in today's Contemporary art world. The focus will be on the wider political issues that impacted art history of the time, thereby using art history as a novel and unique lens through which we can gauge world history events, and its politics, in a potentially new and interesting light.

Students will delve into the complexities of Italian political systems, including the challenges of unification, the influence of Fascism, and the evolution of Italy’s democracy. The course also examines Italy’s role in the European Union and its current political dynamics, including the impact of social movements and debates on LGBTQ+ rights, immigration, and economic policy. Through a combination of historical analysis and contemporary political discussions, this course provides a comprehensive understanding of how Italy’s political landscape has been influenced by its rich history and cultural identity.
