Classical Drawing: The Serious Art Student's Guide to Drawing Mastery

I am an RCA MA Painting graduate, and I have a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art from Westminster University, and a Foundation diploma in Art & Design from the University for the Creative Arts. I am a practicing artist based in London, specializing in painting, and I have been showing my work nationally and internationally. My recent solo show was at Class Reiss London, and I also had a solo presentation at Art Athina. My fascination with tutoring derives from my sensitivity around learning disabilities, something which is a recurring theme in my practice as I grew up as a dyslexic learner, as well as my educational experience of being part of leading academic UK institutions.   Through my work as an art tutor I strive to inspire and support my students, offering insight to my experience as a RCA alumnus and to the professional life of an artist. I teach students of all ages, as I strongly believe that involvement with the arts is always eye opening and revealing, especially when this leads to a career in the arts through higher education. I can offer art lessons for younger children, involving introduction to creative techniques and idea development, mentoring and support with portfolio preparation to apply for art schools internationally  as well as tutoring on contextualizing your work through constructive and generative feedback. 

I teach classes in GCSE and A-level Fine-Art and Textiles prep for upping your grade potential and cultivating your unique creativity through multi-disciplinary art and textiles mediums. I also offer art & play classes for preschool children.

Observational drawing from life - architectural and townscape, natural and landscape subjects. I'm Also happy to work from the comfort of a space identified by yourself - a home or studio - anywhere you would like to work (including my own home, if you prefer) Painting - also able to offer 'from life' lessons, but it is probably more appropriate to work inside, for this.

I'm a Fine Art graduate from University of the Arts London (UAL) - I currently specialise in photography and videography. However I have taught a range of different art disciplines from painting, drawing, design, crafts and sculpture. On a regular basis I teach children from ages 4-11 but I have experience teaching teenagers and adults as well. During lessons we can focus on a particular discipline such as painting or drawing, work on a project that someone has already started in their own time or I can assist with portfolios or sketchbooks for GCSE/AS/A Levels/Foundation/Degree. These classes are for everyone, ranging from fun creative art play for younger years to older years wanting to learn a new skill or develop a hobby. Having the ability to be creative and explore art is so beneficial for both children and adults and I aim to make my lessons as supportive, fun, engaging and positive as possible.

Exhibition - Aperture: Size of the diaphragm (f/2.8 more light, f/16 less light). - Shutter speed: Time the shutter is open (1/1000 freezes, 1/30 blurs). - ISO: Sensitivity to light (ISO 100 less noise, ISO 3200 more noise). 2. Composition - Rule of thirds: Divide the image into 3x3 and place the subject at the intersections. - Guide lines: They direct the viewer's gaze. - Balance: Harmonious and simple elements. 3. Focus - Adjusts the sharpness on the main subject. 4. Lighting - Use natural or artificial light depending on the desired effect. 5. Equipment - Camera, lens, tripod and basic accessories. 6. This class covers essential concepts such as the colour wheel, colour mixing, hue, value, saturation and how to use contrast effectively. Discover the fundamentals of colour theory and learn how to create harmonious and dynamic palettes tailored to your painting style. This class also useful for painters with real and hyper-real style of work. By the end of the course, you'll gain the confidence to select and combine colours to enhance your artistic expression and bring your vision to life. It is ideal for painters of all skill levels looking to deepen their understanding of colour.

These sessions allow the development of skills and knowledge of the trade, with the game facing the camera, familiarization with the audiovisual environment and the camera tool, in the art of acting. Your inventiveness and your uniqueness being at the center of your training, it is a question of dwelling on the objective criteria, such as the voice, the use of the body, the relationship with the partner, the capacity to occupy the space. But it is also the singularity and the commitment that are decisive. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. Since 2020, I have been engaged in academic research on medical and spiritual dance whose practice is called Transcendental Dance (Transcendental Embodiment).
