I usually teach math and economics in English to students who want to become scientists. I help write a good paper. As long as Corona is there, it is possible via Teams, Zoom, or Skype, but in principle, the lessons in my building are within walking distance of the Central Station.

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and I teach private students 2 days a week (Monday and Wednesday). I am Merijn, 20 years old, and student of History at the Free University of Amsterdam. Ever since primary school, I have been interested in the profession. In addition, I spend a lot of free time reading subject-related books and watching programs, documentaries, etc.. I took the history course at the Atheneum and eventually passed. I still had a hard time answering questions on my test. I often wrote 8 pages full just to make sure I got something right, haha. Giving witty, relevant answers is very important here, and I've learned to master this over the years. Physics is the subject that aims at the best and most fundamental description of nature. In this class I can teach physics at any level, from the very basics of Newtonian mechanics, up to courses in quantum mechanics, solid state theory and general relativity.
