ARTS - FROM CLASSICAL DRAWING ALL THROUGH MATERIALITY
The practical insight has been developed throughout enduring studies from 2 different institutional perspectives inspired the urge to convey this to the art enthusiasts of all levels and age. Each age is special within the education similarly all targets pointed from the creative spirits creating thus various anticipations. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach.
However the one who lasts for foundation and aspires him/her the concept of taking it further to possible academic preparation will grab charcoals, a spoke, the required papers, instal from simple to complex still life compositions and set forth the journey of academic drawing theory. And then, of course, start with colour, of both acrylic and oil medium.
Pre-school children, children and teenagers are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. Needless to say that suchlike classes do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.
The aforementioned forms of classes are applicable to all ages.

About Me
I’m 30 years old visual artist from the Mediterranean situated Island of Cyprus. I have three years of work experience in various positions. I inherently possess a spontaneous keen on behavioural observation/investigation, evolving thus, profoundly knowledge likewise wisdom over the concept of natural life, human senses and patterns in alive, lifeless and artificial matters. I’m also very much involved with psychology and art as art therapy.Methodologies I rather feel compatibility with for teaching are primarily defined by theme-based classes engaging then multifarious directions and the students' interest in an alternative way. I am referring to a teaching platform where underlies my inherent knowledge and personal interests in disparate fields such as nature, physics, sound, movement, social science, culture, and spirituality. Artistic skills are by default the main concern but not necessarily pertinent to strict result-focused evaluation. The technique is one of the subsidiary domains which will be passed across in the most enjoyable yet intriguing way possible inasmuch sensory and perception stimulation exist in arts the principal target. I aim to change the general young perspective towards artistic disciplines through various and more compelling pathways. The students need to perceive those few creative hours as their opportunity to experiment, through areas which also are declared (after discovering from an introductory or monthly conversation) by them the most appealing. Ultimately, it will rather be a collaboration amongst the teacher and the student, in order to achieve an optimum fluent, friendly and foremost comfortable to sit in class.
Education

Experience / Qualifications
Coming from a loyal to academic art discipline, that is, the fundamentals of drawing(body anatomy, still life, landscapes etc), painting, engraving/printing of Greek education, I can safely claim that my background can be a significant contribution to art education. I have a wide experience with various materials, whereas experimentation and giving value to unordinary, not mundane artistic tools and mediums is notably an emerging element of my personal practice as a freelancing artist. Seemingly goes with my knowledge in art history likewise which dates from early Renaissance to 21st-century Modern pioneers.Specialized in painting on the premise of possessing a Master degree in research-based Fine Arts from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, which lays under the Western European Institutional system I arguably developed the great ability to instruct, work, discourse, collaborate and counsel a range of mentalities and cultures. Working for different local -yet comprised of multicultural staff- organisations also played a role in the cultivation of flexible trait and interaction with students and people in general.

Stavroulla was a great teacher from the start and I knew that since she asked me about the goals that I had in the arts in order to prepare my classes according to them. We explored some theory and technique that I am still working on and have definitely seen an improvement!

Art & Creativity: From basic skills to elaborating narrativesI am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style.
For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. We later explore other methods based on the student's individual interests. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work. I deeply believe in people's creative potential and in my classes will help you channel your own voice.

If you are considering applying for art school or design school, you might want to prepare yourself and build a convincing portfolio, perhaps improve your presentation skill or even some confidence boost for interviews.
We will first explore what talents you already have and those you will want/need to have, the goal is to help you develop your creativity and curiosity as well as your artistic skills and most importantly find out your inner talent for a direction that will suit you, whether in education or self-development. And we will do a live rehearsal for your interview for the best presentation result and confidence boost. Overall, It'll help you cultivate the soft and hard skills you need to be more confident setting and resetting expectations, strengthening relationships, and taking your projects across the finish line without any cold sweat.
For teenagers: are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. We will also look at specific Artists and Painters, as well as specific Art History periods, and the kids will then be encouraged to play around and recreate their own version of the Artist or period. Needless to say that class do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes a teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.

Naomi
Contemporary Painting Course (individual coaching or in a group setting)Welcome to a new approach to painting, where traditional techniques merge with contemporary artistic expression. I'm Naomi , an experienced visual artist, here to guide you on a journey to discover your own style and painting process.
In the world of painting, there's a misconception that technique is something old-fashioned, reserved for realistically replicating the world around us. I invite you to let go of this notion and join me in exploring how contemporary painters, including abstract artists, use technique to create unique and powerful works.
My lessons are designed for adults who want to look beyond traditional painting courses. We'll start with exercises that encourage free expression, almost in a childlike manner, without focusing on the end result. This process often reveals unexpected talents and leads to authentic artistic discoveries.
I strongly believe in recognizing and developing each student's unique qualities. With me, you'll learn not just the techniques applied by contemporary artists, but also how to use them to find and refine your own artistic voice. There's no such thing as good or bad art; the biggest barriers are often fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Together, we'll overcome these obstacles, with enjoyment in the creative process as our guide.
By the end of the course, you'll leave with a painting that reflects the quality of professional work, created with materials that aren't necessarily expensive, but are essential for serious work in today's art world. I'll provide the materials for the first lesson; afterwards, students will be encouraged to purchase their own.
Whether you're looking for individual guidance or prefer learning in a group setting, I offer both personal and group lessons. Group lessons have a fixed structure, while individual guidance is completely tailored to your desires and talents.
Are you ready to elevate your painting skills to a new level and develop your own style that resonates with the contemporary art world? Join my course and let your creativity flow.

MENTORING IN ARTS : Discover how to say something through your artistic work.I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen.
I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist.
I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns.
In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on.
You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns.
Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.
Anita
Interdisciplinary Arts & Thinking - The Visionary Freedom LabMy name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist.
I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations.
My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others.
This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market.
The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases:
Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests.
Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches.
Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators.
Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), traditional animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, creative writing, and music (the art of songwriting).
A Purposeful, Transparent Approach
I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path.
A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity
Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. The knowledge gained here is never wasted; it’s an investment in adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving abilities that transcend the arts.
