So in 2021 I set up my freelance teaching business to change the situation. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, and I have a master's degree in Linguistics from Leiden University, with a specialisation in English Linguistics, Phonetics and Speech Processing. I am trained in speech analysis software, a highly effective tool that I use to help learners not only hear but also visualise their mistakes. In my spare time, I study and learn languages. Hello, Jakob has really been such a great teacher, I have never seen someone so enthusiatic about music...He is the type of person who can motivate you to learn and have fun with the instrument. I am total beginner in terms of music and violin, but yet the progress im making is amazing. The lessons are so much fun and i really enjoy learning from him. He is never afraid to go extra mile for his students, which is very rare these days. I look foreward to my classes every week. Overall, i have an amazing time learning violin, all thanks to him.

We chose Ms. Carlotta as a teacher for our 5-y.o., due to her solid experience in music and music education. What we didn't know back then, is that Ms. Carlotta has also an amazing personality, which inspired our son, and further guided him through the learning process. Our child is now promptly finishing his first study book, and he never wants to miss a piano lesson or his practice time. We feel blessed to have a music teacher such as Ms. Carlotta for our son, and we fully recommend her to anyone interested.
