Trusted teacher: Are you passionate about singing and ready to take your skills to the next level? Whether you're a beginner or an experienced singer, I’m here to guide you on your musical journey! I'm Keith, a professional jazz singer, composer, and educator with over 12 years of experience. I hold a degree in Jazz Vocals from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where I graduated in 2022. Before moving to the Netherlands, I spent six years as the resident artist with an acclaimed a cappella theater group in Hong Kong. My extensive background includes coaching amateur a cappella groups, teaching vocal lessons in Hong Kong’s secondary schools, and providing choir lessons at the European School The Hague since 2021. My diverse experience ensures that I can help you refine your singing abilities, regardless of your current level. Each lesson is tailored to your individual needs, ensuring steady progress. Here's what we can work on together: - Vocal Techniques: Enhance your breath support, warm-up routines, dynamics, articulation, and explore a range of tone colors. - Interpretation & Expressiveness: Learn how to convey emotion and tell a story through your performance. - Jazz Improvisation: Unlock your creativity and develop your improvisational skills in jazz. - Stage Presence: Build confidence and polish your performance skills for the stage. - Music Theory, Solfège & Ear Training: Strengthen your foundational knowledge to become a well-rounded musician. I conduct lessons in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and a little Dutch, making them accessible and comfortable for a wide range of students. If you’re ready to transform your singing, or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make music together!

Trusted teacher: No one: ... Hungarians: “Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért!“ The fact that you have found my profile means that you are intrigued by Hungarian to some extent. Me as a polyglot linguist who is also a native speaker of this exciting and colourful language do share your appreciation. - Are you planning a vacation (or even moving) to Hungary and want to make the most of your experience with being able to communicate with the locals? (Believe me, they will really appreciate it!) - Are you interested because you want to speak to your significant other in their native language, or perhaps to rediscover your own roots? - Do you want to pick up a new challenge and learn a language that is known for its complexity? Whatever your goal, we can reach it together! Despite its notorious reputation among linguists and non-linguists alike, I can help you tame the beast and show you that the language of the Magyars in fact is way more systematic than many (including Hungarians) would like to admit ;) I have tutored over a dozen students in Hungarian from various nationality backgrounds across 3 continents, and I have a proven set of methods/materials for each of the 6 CEFR levels. The class contents are tailored to your own goals, pace and interests. As a rule of thumb, I like to start out with easy-paced classes for which no previous linguistic knowledge is necessary, so you can feel at ease while warming up to Hungarian. But since I am familiar with various layers of the language, we can also take a step forward and dive into more spicy topics such as etymology, descriptive grammar, poetry (you name it) if you are interested. In any case, you can expect a structured approach with clear and doable aims, lots of first-hand cultural notes and personalised home assignments that help your progress. If you want to start to learn Hungarian, don’t hesitate to send me a mail!

Trusted teacher: Music is Play! and everyone is its own game. Understand and make only the music you like. If it isn't fun, it can't be music! I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music and playing synths, drum machines, and computers. It's longer than 5 years now! Electronic music is a very vast world. The possibilities are endless. But do you need to learn everything, or only what interests you to make the music you want to do? From listening and analyzing a song you like, we will go through the necessary knowledge for you to achieve it: - What do you need to build your home studio in order to create something similar? - Which instruments (or plugins) are being used. - Whether or not a knowledge of music theory is necessary. - And in which different ways / through which paths could you achieve something like what you desire? At the same time that we analyze and learn, you are also going to be encouraged to create! Practice makes the master, and the more you create, the more familiar you'll be with the tools and the environments that we learn in class. A part of the class is also going to be dedicated to listening to what you created and going through different ways we may improve it. For people interested in live electronics (live-processing an acoustic instrument or programming live sets), I also have knowledge of Max MSP and I can teach the basics or help you program any kind of device you propose. PD: I have also experienced imparting piano lessons, which is also a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create any kind of path between piano, synths, beats, and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!

Trusted teacher: Hello! My name is Karolina and I am a professional singer, as well as an upcoming music therapist. I studied Jazz Music at Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen and at the moment I am completing my Master studies in Music Therapy at the ArtEZ Conservatorium in Enschede, The Netherlands. I also hold a degree of the Orff Approach (Orff Schulwerk), a developmental approach used in music education, which combines music, movement, and speech and it is a great approach for children 4-8 years old. I specialize in jazz and Brazilian repertoire, but I also teach Greek folk singing. The lessons are designed according to the needs of each student. Some of the focusing areas are listed below: 1. Vocal Technique: We focus on vocal technique elements such as breath control, vocal range, the use of all registers, and timbres of your voice. The goal is to sing effortlessly. With the vocal technique, you will get the chance to explore your voice and build confidence in your voice. 2. Repertoire: Together we can build your repertoire step by step and focus on the phrasing of each style. You will choose the repertoire you like and you can always ask for advice in case you want to explore new musical styles. A great time of enjoyment during classes where you will be singing your heart out! 3. Improvisation: Vocal improvisation is a great way to explore the voice and also express your feelings. It will also boost your creativity and musicality. Specific exercises can also guide you through this process step by step and in that way we will explore vocal improvisation. FOR CHILDREN (4-8 years old): I am specialized in music education for children 4-8 years old. Using the Orff Approach children will have a great creative time for themselves where they learn music by using their whole body. Experiencing and learning music through playing! Suggested Duration for Lessons for Children: 30-45min depending on the age. I am looking forward to starting an inspiring musical journey with you! Karolina

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone! My musical journey began when I was just four years old, starting with the piano. Later, at the age of seven, I eagerly embraced the violin, adding its enchanting melodies to my repertoire. I achieved a professional mid-grade in both piano and violin. Fueled by my love for music, I moved to Rotterdam, Netherlands, to pursue a Bachelor's degree at Codarts University of Arts. Under the guidance of teachers like Natasha Morozova and Hed Yaron Meyerson, I refined my skills and nurtured my artistic vision. After completing my Bachelor's studies, I continued my musical exploration in Codarts' Master's program. Alongside my classical training, I've always been intrigued by the therapeutic potential of music. In 2023, I earned certification in Music Therapy, expanding my horizons and deepening my connection to the healing power of music. In collaboration with my colleagues, I am member of the Olga Trio. Our mission is to highlight the works of women composers throughout history. Our debut performance at the IV Concurso Nacional de Interpretación de Obras de Mujeres Compositoras was a proud moment, affirming our commitment to amplifying diverse voices in music. Beyond classical music, I've always been drawn to exploring different genres and styles. As a member of the Jong Metropole Orchestra in 2023, I relished the opportunity to collaborate with musicians from diverse backgrounds, pushing the boundaries of traditional musical conventions. In every note I play and every project I undertake, my passion for music shines through. It's a journey of exploration, growth, and discovery, and I'm excited to continue sharing my love for music with the world. I've been teaching during the last 8 years. I am flexible with the students needs and I embrace fun and creativity in my lessons.

Stefano
I have had two ukelele classes so far and I am very happy. Stephano is chill but committed to helping you advance. I did not expect to learn music theory as well which I am finding very interesting and rewarding because I am already applying it when playing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone irrespective of their level.
