Whether you have experience with singing and want to develop your skills or you were always curious about learning how to sing, I will adjust my lessons to your goals and provide you with the tools you need to make singing easier. In order for you to become a better singer, I will teach you to understand how your body works and how it is connected to your voice. That way, you will be able to properly use your voice and make singing even more exciting. I want to create a safe and fun learning space in which we can learn from each other the wonderfulness that is singing!

With 20 years of experience as a guitar teacher and as a professional musician, I like to pass on my passion for the guitar to others. I teach at all levels; from beginners to advanced, and specialize in jazz, flamenco, classical, bossa nova, rock, funk and metal. On the basis of the level of the student I make a program that suits them, including learning songs with chords, playing riffs, rhythm theory, speed, improvisation, specific techniques, transcription of solos. I've been teaching music for 10 years and I'm based in Rotterdam. I have a Bachelor's degree in percussion and singing from the Conservatory of Ege University of Izmir and a Master's degree from the Codarts Conservatory of Rotterdam. My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam. I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager. In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc. With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music. As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85. Hey there! My name is Yorgos and I am a guitar performer and instructor. Originating from Greece I embarked on musical journey to the Netherlands because of its reach musical scene. For the past eleven years I have been pursuing my musical career in the city of Rotterdam and have been teaching in various musical styles and ages. At the age of fourteen, I picked up a guitar, and two decades later, it feels like an extension of my soul. With over twenty years of experience strumming and shaping melodies, I’ve spent eleven of those years sharing my passion as a private instructor and performer. My musical journey has led me to teach a diverse range of students—from seven-year-olds to adults—covering everything from the pop and blues to the soulful depths of rock, jazz, funk, and folk. During my studies at the Royal Conservatory I learned the how work with the basics of the Kodaly solmisation system and In addition I taught ensemble lessons at the International School of The Hague. Further on, I got the opportunity to develop my knowledge on music theory, and gained experience with rhythmic, melodic solfège and sightreading. These are topics I always like to include in my lessons, because I find them very important not only for the personal growth of each musician, but also for the deeper connection they create between the musician and the instrument. Finally, even though I like incorporating all the elements mentioned above into my lessons I foremost focus on tailoring the lessons around the needs of every student and helping in any way I can their growth of musical curiosity. From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.
