I have experience as a teacher of both lyrical and modern and musical singing. I have taught children from 4-5 years old, adolescents, adults and the elderly. I also prepare voices for actors, for choral singers who want to improve and for people who need vocal technique in their work and want to correct or improve vocal delivery, and not get tired talking. I have students of different levels, who start from zero level to students who already sing and are looking for a vocal coach to prepare for different tests or entrance exams, for lyrical singers, musical theater singers and actors. I teach classes in Madrid (Puerta del Ángel area next to Puente Segovia) and at home (consult). Classes for one or several students, small groups too. In the classes you will learn to work the voice technically and interpretively, understanding that the voice works together with the body, posture, resonators, expression, breathing, vocal technique, repertoire, language, color, expressiveness, physical condition and psychology of the singer. The classes are made up of a first technical part with specific exercises to learn how the voice works and training various aspects of the voice such as breathing, air, connection, resonators, etc. with various types of vocalizations focused on working on different aspects. Then we work on the works and songs, applying the knowledge acquired to the repertoire, focusing on the emission, expressiveness and vocal technique necessary for the work and style. We also study the phonetics of the language of the song (Spanish, English, French, German and Italian). Trusted teacher: I am a Spanish native teacher, with extensive experience teaching Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I learnt methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My classes are dynamic and centred on the student's progress, carrying out different interactive activities, role-playing and exercises that will make the student increase his/her confidence with the use of Spanish, whilst learning grammar and vocabulary. I usually give the students the opportunity to send me writings that I correct at home, and I recommend listening activities that will help the student to improve his/her understanding of the language during lessons. My complete proficiency of the English language makes it easier for the student to ask specific questions or to understand how some expressions work in Spanish, having my English explanation at hand (in order to make them fully understand the most difficult aspect of Spanish). The student will be able to see different places in the capital of Spain without leaving the classroom and learn Spanish. My learning idea is based on interactive activities between my student and me, with word games, card games to improve the syllabi. I will also bring printed exercises for the denser syllabi and for reading comprehension activities in Spanish. We will see a text in which different topics will be discussed and the student must understand what each paragraph says. For this last exercise, I will use the texts and printed images from my printed edition of Guía de Madrid. This course suggests that we enter a level of English that allows you to deal with your personal life and your professional life. Furthermore, the idea is to be able to talk about the media, to function in different environments. It is also important in this course to think about eating. How nice it is to know how to order a good plate of food or go to a gym knowing how to talk to people. Here you can delve into the different greetings and means of establishing contact with Spanish.
