Beat it! Drums, Latin percussion and Music Theory Lessons for all levels. (Ghent)
Jose
José has a clear plan of what to teach, and adapts to the student.
Good tempo of new information.
Emphasizes ergonomic playing, thus avoiding injuries and unblocking you to play faster in good time. (Spoiler: it's about releasing every unnecesary tension you hold).
Pleasant learning environment (including a beautiful view over Ghent, and with Juanita the kitten). Knows his stuff (percussion, but also music more general).
Gives you exercises for at home, which you first practice together in class, and then he writes them down for you in clear notation.

Faddoul
Great music and Oud teacher. Very patient, attentive and constantly follows up on progress. I am doing remote Oud session from Brooklyn and learned so much in only few sessions. He has a real passion for music and education. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn music and the instruments Faddoul plays. I'm very thankful for all his shared knowledge, talent and experience.

Stuart
Stuart quickly assessed my playing level and gave me exercises to work on basic technique. He is fun and interesting to chat with. He has a lot of experience playing with groups. He is very knowledgeable about rhythms and techniques from different regions. I am excited to be learning and improving.
