It might be easy to find an average guitar teacher, but genuine insight is much harder to come by - over the years, I've seen it all, and I want to use my experience to help you! ABOUT ME I am a friendly, solid, inspiring, patient, real-world music teacher, with over a decade's experience as a working, touring, studying, writing, teaching, musician! APPROACH Creating a nice atmosphere is really important to me. I'd love to know more about your goals and what excites you - your dreams might be as big as building a career in music, or as small as being able to perform a few songs to no-one but yourself and your cat. Anything and everything in between is totally valid and worth exploring! THINGS I CAN HELP WITH - How to get the most from music, whether that be through following a grade system, or just learning how to play the music you love. - Getting to that "next level" of guitar playing, wherever you are at the moment - Organising the fretboard, rhythm, inspiration, what to practice (at any level) - Providing helpful real-world context for the things you might be learning at school/college/university/YouTube - Songwriting/Arranging/Production, from very first steps to advanced concepts - Blocks/worries you might have about any aspect of music, or a kind of music coaching role (I'm not a licensed therapist but I'm here for it!) FIRST LESSON This would be an introductory session, where we get a feel for each other and what your aims are. By having a chat, I find that "what we should work on" flows pretty naturally from this, and we'd be able to set out a rough syllabus of what we would work on for the next while. FURTHER INFO/EXPERIENCE - Professional musician for over a decade, most notably touring as a guitarist with US Artists Theo Katzman and May Erlewine, as well as a Fleetwood Mac tribute show. - Taught 1-on-1 and ensemble lessons both privately and in schools, with a wiiiiide range of ability levels. - I produce and release my own original music with 17k monthly listeners. - Have worked as a session guitarist on a huge variety of genres (I can help you with pretty much any kind of music you can think of, but I'll be open and upfront with you if I feel my expertise doesn't match what you want. I'll be sorry to disappoint you that my, say, Bulgarian Folk knowledge isn't too hot...) - Have composed/arranged music for national TV ad campaigns (TUI, Redbull and Vodafone IE)

Almost all music today is made using computers—whether it's composed, recorded, or edited with music software. It has never been easier to create music yourself, requiring very little equipment or prior experience. I offer classes for all skill levels, from beginners who want to learn the basics and get to grips with music-making software, to experienced artists and producers looking to refine their skill set and make their music sound unique and professional. I have worked with artists across a wide range of genres, backgrounds, and ages. Through this experience, I’ve found that the common goal and joy in music is honest self-expression, something I pride myself on encouraging and facilitating, no matter your level of experience or confidence. The structure and timeline of the classes are flexible and can be tailored to your needs. For beginners, I typically recommend starting with an hour-long session once a week for ten weeks. The goal would be to finish at least two songs or pieces of music by the end of the course. Classes can be conducted in person or online. I am a classically trained musician. I was a chorister at Cambridge's King's College Choir as a child and received a music scholarship to one of the UK’s top secondary schools, where I studied trumpet, piano, viola, singing, and composition. It was there that I discovered my passion for music production on computers. I also achieved top grades in Music Technology and offer tutoring for Music Technology exams at both GCSE and A-Level. I then went on to study at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, specializing in Electronic and Produced Music, where I graduated with a first-class degree. My studies included modules in popular music production, songwriting, film music composition, acousmatic music, and orchestration, among others. Since then, I have been working with the charity Key Changes, where I visit psychiatric hospitals and forensic wards to collaborate with patients on music production and songwriting. A large part of this work involves creating instrumentals for rappers, which allowed me to learn how to produce drill and trap music. I’ve also run music production workshops for children aged 8-16 and provided individual tutoring to many young learners. I have an enhanced DBS check and extensive experience working with children aged 4 and up, including students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction. With a background in classical music, I underpin my lessons with useful technical exercises that encourage dexterity, time-keeping and fluency. Finally, I encourage all my students to learn at least the fundamentals of music theory and sight reading. Professional lessons in London for beginners and intermediate players of all ages. Hi, I’m Eleazar, and I’m here to help you discover (or rediscover) the art of playing the violin. My course focuses on building strong foundational skills and mastering the basics, essential for anyone starting out or looking to solidify their technique. My goal is to help you build the strong technical foundations that lead to freedom and joy in playing the violin while keeping the learning process fun and engaging. Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate player, my lessons are designed to guide you through mastering the basics so that you can ultimately play with confidence and ease. What makes my teaching unique? 🎻 A Fresh Perspective on Violin Technique I had the privilege of studying with world-renowned violinist Zakhar Bron, and at the age of 21, I had to completely rework my violin technique. Because I learned it later in life, I can break down the essentials and explain them in a way that’s easy to understand—something most violinists, who learned their technique as young children, often struggle to do. Together, we’ll build the foundations that will allow you to play freely, rather than feeling restricted by technique. 🌍 Multilingual Lessons I’m a native French speaker and fluent in both Spanish and English. You can choose the language you’re most comfortable with, so we can focus entirely on making progress with your playing. 📍 Flexible Lessons in London or Online I offer lessons in person here in London, but I’m also available online if that suits your schedule better. My goal is to make violin lessons accessible, convenient, and enjoyable for everyone. 🎯 Tailored for Beginners and Intermediate Students My lessons are specifically designed to help you build a solid technical foundation, develop your sound so you can truly play freely and express yourself. You’ll leave each session feeling accomplished and confident. Slogan: "Build your foundation. Play with freedom. Enjoy the music."

I offer lessons to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to those more advanced. Typical lessons last from 30 minutes to an hour. All of my lessons are tailored to meet the exact needs and preferences of my students, whether that's working towards their next graded exam, playing just for fun, and anything in between. I hold a first class honours degree in Classical Flute from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I studied with Ian Clarke and Philippa Davies, and won the Needlemaker's Woodwind Prize. After graduating in 2022, I was invited to become a Guildhall School Junior Fellow, specialising in Flute and Composition. As a freelance flautist, I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall and the Southbank Centre. My performance experience encompasses a diverse range of settings, from live radio broadcasts to collaborations with dance and art installations, reflecting my versatility as a musician, and openness to help my students pursue their own personal journey, both within music and as an individual in general. In addition to my passion for the flute, I am also an accomplished composer with a portfolio of commissioned works premiering at renowned venues and exhibitions worldwide. Notable highlights include composing for Wessel Flutes, Berlin Fashion Week, Nxt Museum (Amsterdam), and Adidas Y-3. My work as a composer heavily influences my approach to teaching. Beyond emphasising technical proficiency and a solid grasp of music theory, I am dedicated to nurturing creativity in all of my students.
