Music Graduate from The University of Cambridge with a Masters from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have experience teaching all levels of academic music. In particular, I specialise in tutoring Grades 1-5 Music Theory (ABSRM), Primary School Level and Secondary School Level up to Music GCSE. I cover the fundamentals of reading music notation, and I will tailor my lessons to the syllabus and student's requirements, whilst ensuring the lessons are enjoyable and rewarding. I enjoy teaching both children and adults, and believe learning the foundations of music theory will hugely assist practical performance, and develop confidence and musicianship.

Hello! My name is Orestis, I come from Cyprus and I am 27 years old. I am passionate about teaching, and one of the greatest joys of my professional career is watching my students flourish. These classes are designed to equip students of composition with the confidence they need to develop their own unique musical voice. Technical exercises are set to nurture a deeper understanding of instrumentation/texture, harmony, melody, rhythm and structure. The classes also encourage the student to consider the connection between musical and extra-musical ideas and to explore different approaches and starting points. Work is set and feedback is given on all work sent before the day of a lesson.
