Trusted teacher: This course invites participants to experience natural well-being through Mindfulness and Eco-Psychology techniques, connecting with nature as a tool for personal development. Nature helps us to see our own emotional and mental processes reflected; therefore, each class includes moments of introspection in a natural environment that strengthens full awareness and a sense of belonging to the environment. Through conscious walks, mindfulness practices and guided breathing exercises, participants will learn to reduce stress and improve their emotional balance. In addition to the emotional benefits, these practices offer physical renewal when performed in green spaces. Through this experience, participants not only acquire techniques for stress management, but also experience lasting mental peace that helps them reconnect with what is essential and cultivate a more balanced and healthy life. For the face-to-face modality, sometimes I will come to your home and other times we will work in the Valdebebas Forest Park, a perfect environment with hardly any traffic of people to put into practice the tools of this course and achieve objectives in less time. For the web-cam mode, I will assign you tasks to be performed in natural environments of your choice, either in a park near your work or home. In addition, I will give you a set of personalized guided meditations to perform during your tasks. As a welcome gift, with your first class I will give you a package of incense for space energy cleansing, for personal cleansing and for meditations, as well as an incense holder. In addition, I will give you a set of emergency guided meditations with your name for Sleep, for episodes of Anxiety and to work on Concentration.

Trusted teacher: Hello, I have been a Yoga teacher since 2017, having completed 200 hours of practice at the English school Yoga London (Yoga Alliance certified). I give Restorative, Yin and Hatha yoga classes and sound yoga sessions (sound therapy). Restorative yoga is the most relaxing yoga. It is a gentle, introspective yoga that cultivates inner calm. Unlike most other yogas, there is no muscle strengthening. We simply remain in still postures in order to relax the mind, breathe and relax deeply. Yin Yoga is a slow yoga. The practice of this focuses on connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, joints and even cartilage. It requires little or no muscular engagement. Yin yoga consists of long stretches, combinations of slow and deep breathing as well as postures that must be held for several minutes. Hatha Yoga combines postures much more quickly than Yin and Restorative yoga and it works on strengthening as well as muscular elasticity. It also helps to balance the two hemispheres of the brain as well as to harmonize the body and mind. The benefits of Yoga: - Strengthen the health of joints and bone. - Strengthen the cardiovascular system. - Improve overall body flexibility. - Promote better body posture. - Reduce pain. - Tone the muscles. - Help with digestion (twisting postures). - Reduce stress and anxiety. - Achieve maximum relaxation by cultivating abandonment and letting go. - Help fight depression. I offer one-hour sessions. I speak French, English and Spanish (I am perfectly trilingual). If you would like to take lessons with me, I live in Saint-Mandé.

Trusted teacher: A full course of one hour (60 min) with the possibility of reserving for a longer duration (90 min). My classes are mainly oriented on the connection with the breath, the anchoring and the deep muscular work. The lessons are adapted according to the level of the students, and I offer several variations: Hatha Yoga: general category which encompasses most of the styles practiced. "Hatha" means "perseverance", "effort" or even "determination". To be determined to achieve liberation within a certain period. This discipline is in relation with "prana", the vital force and its two components: masculine energies, considered as solar and active + feminine energies considered as lunar and passive. From there was born another interpretation according to which "Ha" & "Tha" would mean the sun and the moon united and balanced through the practice of Hatha yoga. The soul being the sun, constant and stable in its brilliance and luminosity, the spirit being the moon, constantly fluctuating and changing like the phases of the moon. The basic principle of Hatha yoga being to unite and harmonize the opposing energies of the body; the mind and its reactions. We unite the body and the spirit to unite the spirit with the universe. A Hatha yoga class consists of physical postures and breathing exercises. The postures are performed slower and last for a few breaths (30 seconds to a few minutes) to promote anchorage and stability. A real in-depth muscular work. Vinyasa Yoga: the Sanskrit term Vinyasa is derived from 2 roots "Nyasa" which means "to place" and "Vi" which can be translated as "in a specific way". Each movement is linked to rhythm and consciously placed to create a dynamic flow. It is a more rhythmic and powerful yoga which allows to link the postures in a harmonious way with transitions commonly called "vinyasa" and used in particular during the sun salutations. Here we retain the postures in a shorter time than during a Hatha yoga session, but we are still aware of our movements and our alignment. Yin Yoga: a gentle yoga, for people looking for relaxation, a stretching work inspired by Yin Yoga to release muscle tension and settle into letting go. I invite you to discover Yoga with Hope Arts Studio or to deepen your knowledge if you are already practicing. Meditation: work on the chakras; the 7 main energy centers of the body, often represented by 7 specific colors. During this session, we will focus on a particular chakra to balance and / or unblock it through breathing techniques and guided meditation. We will also explore mindfulness meditation, bringing the moment to the present moment, reconnecting to your “inner self” consciously and without judgment, examining thoughts and emotions. This practice is beneficial for relieving tension and everyday stress. Possibility of private or semi-private lessons in the studio, at home or online. I teach in French and English.

Yoga for children, teens and families to inspire creativity, curiosity and connection! (Oeiras)
Martina
My daughter who is 11, took online Yoga classes with Martina, and she really enjoyed it. Martina had a way to connect with her which worked very well; during the class, when teaching to my daughter Yoga movements, and after the class, as Martina asked my daughter to reflect on a number of subjects which were always excellent and helped her notice and appreciate what was around her. So overall, this was a brilliant experience with a brilliant teacher I fully recommend.
