You learn to develop your own musical taste. During the lesson we play duos together for fun, but also to learn to make music with someone. Lesson for children I introduce starting children from 6 years old to the piano by playing and singing at the same time. Then we quickly switch to piano books such as the Thompson method. You learn to read notes, rhythms, correct piano touch and posture so that you can quickly play your favorite piece of music. Do you want to apply for admission to the conservatory or do you want to play in a band? I can help you prepare for auditions. Lesson for adults Advanced children and adults follow an individual program depending on personal wishes and level. The pleasure and happiness of making music are central. House concerts During the festive house concerts you will have the opportunity to play for others and hear different music from other students. Info Lessons take place at my home in Leiden. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning. It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life. About the class: This class aims to prepare for the ABRSM piano grade 1-8 test at a more intensified pace. The student is supposed to possess certain musical knowledge or required piano skills. The teacher will help the students develop their missing skills to pass the exam. Different students may require different class lengths. For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Kids who took the piano class twice a week and half an hour each class usually progress faster than those who took it once a week. For kids who practice longer time, it is also advised to take the course longer time. A child who practices two hours a day could play Beethoven's Fur Elise within one year, but for a child who practices less than half an hour per day, this goal usually takes more than four years to achieve. For adults who have greater self-control, it is advised to take the class for a longer time per class but with less frequency. About the price: It’s not fixed, depending on the distance. If the travel time is less than half an hour to the students’ home, the price will be the same as at the teacher’s home.

Accordion Lessons For All Levels And Musical Styles (Olten)

Noel was awesome. He is a very talented young musician, his ways of explaining musical notes and how they aply to the Accordeon was coherent and easy to follow. I had no idea about Accordeons at all and I never played a musical instrument before. Noel was able within 5 hrs to give me a very basic but helpful insight into how to play the left and then the right hand. He also explained me the basic of reading and writting notes. I am very thankful for his help to learn the very basic of playing the Accordeon, and I would recommend him for anybody interested to learn to play the Accordeon. He is capable to teach any level and any age groups, from kids to seniors.

Fantastic teacher!! Giora is a professional musician and a fantastic teacher. He knows exactly what the student needs and his teaching methods are great. From the first assessment meeting he managed to spot the strengths and weaknesses, he listened well to what I want and what's my goal and devised a plan for me to reach it. He's not judgemental, provides timely feedback and compliments/appreciates the strengths and gives constructive/motivational feedback when needed. It's a joy to work with Katie, she has a lovely personality and a very flexible teaching style. Apart from being a good pianist I value the fact that she is able to put music into context.
