The duration of the course is 45 mins for children to 60 mins for adults and is open to all styles: from classical music to current music, world music, religious music, ... My pedagogy is articulated on 2 main axes: the technique and the practice. The technique: - Solfège or without solfège - Range, improvisation on ranges, ... - Desynchronization technique for the hands - Breathing technique - Distress technique ... I dedicate to find the best suitable way to help my each student. I teach piano lessons from classical to contemporary. About my Teaching Philosophy 1. As a teacher, I like to help students to enjoy learning piano, helping them achieve their goals. 2. I hope I can build their value on the appreciation of music art. 3. I want to help students to practice piano with correct way. I will concern more on how to use relax muscle to play, because only relax muscle playing can make beautiful sounding, can overcome many technique issues, especially preventing from getting hurt from uncomfortable muscle playing. 4. I sincerely hope one day students can really love to play the piano, having the music as life-long companion, even they don't want to be a professional pianist. If the student is interested in more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams or some competitions. About my Educational background I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance from the University of Kansas, a Master of Music and Teaching Artist Certificate from the Longy School of Bard College, a Music Certificate from Bowling Green State University, Association A member of Phi Kappa Phi, MTNA, and NEKMTA.

Of course I'm more than willing to leave a review here although I think it is much too early after two hours. I'm a very choosy person, Artur convinced me from the first second, he has this irresistible mixture of intelligence, seriousness, humor and passion for his instrument; at the same time he is very down-to-earth. What I like besides other things most about him is his concentration, he is really with his student, thinks of individual solutions - great! After I had the lessons with him I cancelled my subscription of an online learning program - the lessons online felt much better.

Ai is a wonderful teacher. She's great at explaining all sorts of grammatical concepts and she's sweet with a good sense of humour to boot. I definitely recommend everyone who's interested in learning how to speak, write or read Japanese to consider taking lessons from her. If you're motivated and do the assigned homework, you'll make a lot of progress in a very small period of time. It's only been two weeks, but I already feel like my Japanese has improved considerably!
