Hello! I am Zachary. I hold two undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Physics (with minor in Computer Science) from the University of Buea and Bachelor of Education in Physics (with minor in Mathematics) from the Higher Teacher Training College Bambili. I have also taken most of the courses of Master of Science in Physics from the University of Buea and I am currently doing a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching from University of the People, Pasadena, CA, USA. I am a government-certified teacher who have been teaching grades 6 to 12 students Physics and Mathematics for over 12 years. I am versed with in-person and online teaching and I have never met a problem that I could not solve. I use a variety of instructional techniques to foster educational equity and inclusion. This differentiated instruction has enabled my students to improve their learning and achieve the instructional objectives and learning outcomes. Some of the courses covered in my M.Ed. degree program include History and Philosophy of Education, Curriculum Design, Classroom Management, Learning Theory, Measurement and Evaluation, Diversity and Inclusion, Overcoming Learning Barriers, Instructional Techniques at the Secondary School, Education for Sustainable Development, Education for Global Competence, Adolescent Development, Advanced Practices for Teaching STEM at the Secondary Level, Research in Education, and Applied Professional Enquiry, amongst others. My students have improved over the years and have performed remarkably in public and harmonized examinations.
