Il permet de donner le contexte temporel dans lequel on désire situer nos propos. In English there is a number of tenses, each of which is used in a particular context. For the purpose of this course we will present the tenses that can be encountered in everyday English through a completely original organization facilitating understanding without going into the instructions. We can group English tenses into three groups for effective learning: - simple tenses - The so-called compound tenses - The so-called superimposed tenses I) THE SIMPLE TENSES - present simple - Past simple or preterit - Future simple - Conditional simple or present conditional II) THE COMPOUND TENSES They fall into two categories: The tenses of the PERFECT and the tenses of the CONTINOUS A) The tenses of the perfect -present perfect -Conditional perfect or past perfect B) the tenses of the continous - Present continuous - Past continuous - Future progressive - Conditional progressive III) THE SURIMPOSED TENSES we have : - Present perfect continuous - Past perfect continuous. All of these tenses are used in a context and purpose that the mastering is important. Thus presented, we can now wonder about the instructions for use.

OVER means at a higher level or layer than. ex: The red pen is over the table. BELOW denotes something lower than other thing. ex: My friend was hidden below the table. UNDER denotes something places exactly below somthing or vertically down. ex: I put the book under my bag. ACROSS refers to the opposite side of. ex: The restaurant is across the street. THROUGH is used in the sense of crossing. ex: He walked through th fog. OPPOSITE TO gives the sense of other side. ex: The art gallerie is opposite to my university BY refers to the sens of next to. ex: Ariana stand by her husband IN FRONT OF gives the sense of facing something. ex: I speak in front of a large public. BEHIND gives the sense of sense of something at the back. He was behind the door by talikng. IN is expressing the situation of something that is or appears to be enclosed or surrounded by something else. ex: I get in the house. AT is used to show an exact position of something. ex: I am going at the library.
    Possessive adjectives allow us to indicate the belonging of an object or a person to a person to a thing. In English the possessive adjectives are used to describe the belonging of an object or person to another object or person. We will present the subject pronouns and then how they turn into possessive adjectives.
