I have over 6 years of experience tutoring KS3-GCSE maths. Over the 6 years, I have privately tutored 130+ students, most of whom were long-term, amassing over 4200 hours of private tutoring experience. Having a positive attitude and the required level of enthusiasm, coupled with easily understandable methods of teaching, I am able to make learning enjoyable and memorable. As a dedicated private tutor, I spend time understanding how my students learn best and implement this into my lessons, adapting my teaching style to suit each student, thus enhancing their learning. This why my students do well: all of my students have made significant progress, achieving their goals within their timeframe and even excelling beyond that. The most substantial progression was a student who went from being predicted a level 4 in maths to achieving a level 8 in her GCSEs, with only 7 months of tuition! On top of my extensive experience as a tutor, I am a qualified maths teacher, having completed my PGCE in secondary and further education mathematics at Kings College London.
