I typically start with a brief meeting with the student or parent to identify weaknesses surrounding the subject or a preference to relearn materials studied in school recently. This also allows me the opportunity find out what exam board the student is learning from, so I am able to adjust my curriculum. A lesson would then comprise of explanation of the subject, methods regarding exam or revision questions, exam questions or revision questions for the student to complete with aid, and then questions for the student to complete individually; which would then be marked. Extra questions or past exam papers can be provided for extra homework or revision if desired.
