I approach tutoring by emphasizing intuition and understanding over blind regurgitation of formulas. My mathematical background provides me with the requisite rigor necessary to handle the subject properly while my engineering education provides me with the ability to communicate and translate abstract principles into practical insights and intuitive understanding. Too often, students feel that the abstract mathematical formulation is divorced from the physics it is supposed to model. They struggle to bridge the gap between rigor and intuition.
