I propose to help college students so that they are no longer afraid of mathematics. The method that I propose for these private lessons consisted of: Check that the student has understood his lesson well and that he has learned it Give the student the explanations he needs to progress on the course and mnemonic devices to learn it more easily Do and redo the exercises requested by his math teacher or - if necessary - provide him with additional exercises Review with him the resolution methods implemented in these exercises These are simple methods but work well. I avoid giving my students homework to do outside of private math lessons so as not to overload them with work, but I make sure that they do not fall behind on their program.
