There are many similarities between Spanish and English but, pronunciation is quite different. During the lesson I listen for pronunciation mistakes and help the student to correct those mistakes.

You may think you need sound like a native speaker accent to have good English pronunciation, but this simply isn’t true. My main areas of teaching English are improving pronunciation, increasing vocabulary and understanding grammar. Many people have an ‘accent’ when they speak English, but they are easy to understand. In short, good pronunciation is not about accent, but rather clarity of speech.
