We will work on developing a beautiful sound and building a way of playing that will allow you to perform the works that you love. Throughout the lessons, you will be provided with methods that enable you to examine and overcome any challenge that you might face as you progress. You will be given the tools to independently continue your practice at home. All styles of playing can be covered - from ornamentation in Baroque, or the operatic classicism of Mozart, to the romantic richness of Brahms or the impressionist fluidity of Debussy. Apart from classical music, we can cover your favorites from Pop, Folk, and Film Soundtracks. I aim to promote an artistic conversation around a common love for music.
