As a professional lyrical singer, I accompany you in the development of a healthy and controlled voice through exercises and knowledge on breathing, posture, support and opening the resonators, essential to release the power as well as the beauty, purity and personality of the voice. My teaching goes beyond technique: From my many experiences on stage, I integrate the work of interpretation and scenic expression, inspired by theater and lyrical art. Together, we will explore how to transmit emotions through the voice and the body, cultivating stage presence and the art of telling a story through music. My approach combines theory and creativity. We will approach learning notes through a conductor book but also through colors, drawings and songs for a fun and lively memorization. You will also discover the essential signs for reading and writing music: staff, keys, rests, alterations, ornaments and other elements enriching the musical language. The rhythm will be worked on through a book but also in a physical way thanks to dance, movement, body clapping to naturally integrate the pulse and the tempo. We will explore ensemble playing, essential for developing listening and musical cohesion with others. Interpretation and nuances will be addressed by highlighting musical colors and expressiveness in order to bring each piece to life and convey emotions. You will discover different musical styles and eras, varied instrumental forms and formations in order to enrich your musical culture. Finally, music theory (tones, chords, intervals, scales, cadences, etc.) will be integrated in a progressive and accessible way. Passionate and experienced, I offer cello lessons adapted to all levels and objectives. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, we will cover the fundamental aspects of instrumental technique by working in depth on the left hand (pitch, vibrato, agility) and the right hand (bow control, pressure/speed, nuances, sound quality). I pay particular attention to posture and bodily connection with the instrument, to create a harmonious link between the body and the cello. This work promotes a fluid and expressive playing, where the body becomes an extension of the instrument. Beyond technique, I encourage ensemble musical playing, introducing you to the art of chamber music and active listening, in order to develop your musical sense and refine your interpretation. Each course is personalized according to your desires and the styles you wish to explore. We will travel through different musical eras to enrich your repertoire and your understanding of styles, while giving an important place to emotions and feelings in music.
