Hello! My name is Olga, and I am an Italian teacher with 17 years of experience, 14 of which I have been teaching online. I am a polyglot and speak Russian, Ukrainian, Italian, English and I am actively learning Dutch. As I am constantly learning new languages, I understand very well the difficulties that students face. I have been living in the Netherlands for 1.5 years and during that time I have reached level A2-B1 in the Dutch language, thanks to my understanding of the language structure and teaching methods. These skills, together with my knowledge of Italian (CILS C2 certificate) and teaching methodology (DITALS certificate from the Università per Stranieri di Siena), help my students to pass exams successfully and gain confidence in spoken Italian. Lately I have been actively studying and applying the lexical approach and the Dogme method, which help students to notice and remember word combinations in any text.
