At the center of my teaching philosophy is musical inspiration: finding music, exercises and methods that inspire you to practice. To find ways to make practicing and playing the violin feel effortless and most importantly, fun! In our lessons, I will find out what interests you and find ways to base the lesson on what you want and need. The best kind of practice is a little (almost) every day. Let's find a way to make this happen while still having fun. Once we have the inspiration, we will work on the details.
I am a professional and international violinist. I have a degree in education and 19 years of experience teaching violin. I have taught violin in various contexts: conservatories, schools, summer schools and of course private lessons. In 2020, I developed my own method of teaching by ear and this is what I studied for my master's degree in musicology. I taught at the Rennes and Châtenay-Malabry Conservatories. This summer, I will teach in three summer schools: EBR internship in Rennes; Scottish Whispers Stage in Rennes and the European String Teacher's Association Stage in England. I also plan to complete the State Diploma here in France.
I have the possibility for new students to join me from September 18th. I am available Mondays and Tuesdays.
