I am currently a doctoral student at CHU Laval and you will find on my personal profile all the details concerning my university career. My courses are mainly focused on life sciences and biology. I am able to cover all aspects of cellular and molecular biology (ex: transcription, translation, nucleic acids, gene repression, recent techniques in molecular biology, cloning, ...) and I adapt according to the demand of the 'student. Thanks to my background, I am also able to provide an expert opinion on the theme of the intestine-brain-microbiota axis (metagenomics, homeostasis of the intestinal bacterial flora in physiology and pathology, relationships between neurodegenerative diseases and deregulation of the microbiota) . My current field of expertise allows me to give very advanced courses and at the forefront of current knowledge on the themes of neurodegeneration in particular on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. The first course will focus on an assessment of the student's shortcomings and needs in order to provide the best possible experience. My courses have as main objective to give birth to the student: - a complete and perfect understanding of the courses given - a strong critical mind - scientific reasoning It is also possible to make "à la carte" courses where you warn me before what you want to see in a very short period of time. This format is ideal for students who need answers to specific questions and who want, for example, to work on exam papers. Whatever the course format chosen, I provide a worked PDF which serves as support for the various courses covered or to support the answers to the questions that students ask me.
