I have given private conversational English classes in an academy and I have experience with individual classes also teaching children and adults in English (A1 to C2). In my experience, when you practice drumming, you want it to be as enjoyable as possible, and at the same time, you want to progress as much as possible. For beginners, I recommend going to my first class with three goals: to establish a steady rhythm awareness, start building good hand technique and teach them a basic drum rhythm...and most importantly make it as fun and enjoyable as possible! I have been playing and teaching this amazing instrument for almost 20 years and would simply like to pass my knowledge on to future drummers. It's also a great exercise to improve coordination, timing, and rhythm. You will learn to play basic rhythms and it will be rewarding as after learning them, playing the drums will become easier for you. Playing the drums can initially seem daunting, but constant practice will help you get the process right.
