The program provide an excellent foundation to learning piano that will not only give your child a rock-solid knowledge of piano but also give your child a fun, interesting, varied, meaningful first experience of their instrument that will keep them playing long into life. You’ll see that all my lesson plan templates are based on three key areas forming the main part of a lesson: * Technical Development * Creative/Exploratory Activities * Repertoire On the lessons your child will: * Learn to read rhythms and create their own rhythms, the perfect basis for sight reading, composition, and improvising. * Learn all of the scales and be able to improvise and compose, play them forwards and backwards. Really know them inside and out and why we use them in music. * Practise correct technique to avoid injury and pain when they go on to advanced study. * Learn and find all notes on the staff easily, and be able to read fluently. * Preemptively learn and practise theory through exciting games, get to keep and use them as part of your child’s practise routine.
