This course offers comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles, beliefs, and practices of Islam. •Students will explore rules of tajweed reading of Quran with fluency. The class will cover topics such as the life of Prophet Muhammad, the Qur’an, the Five Pillars of Islam, Islamic history, and the diversity within the Muslim community across time and geography. Through lectures, discussions, and primary sources, students will gain a deeper understanding of how Islam shapes the lives of over a billion people worldwide. Class 2: Course Description: • This course provides an introduction to Braille, the tactile writing and reading system used by individuals who are blind or visually impaired. • Students will learn the fundamentals of the Braille alphabet, numbers, punctuation, and basic contractions, with a focus on developing the skills necessary to read and write Braille fluently. •The course will also explore the history of Braille, its development, and its role in increasing accessibility and independence for the visually impaired community.
