I have a Master's degree in English Teaching from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and a Bachelor's degree in English Teaching from the State Distance University of Costa Rica. I have several professional updating certificates in Didactics, Learning Evaluation and Pedagogy endorsed by different institutions such as Castro Carazo University, North American Costa Rican Cultural Center, MEP among others; focused on didactics and innovative strategies for teaching English. I recently completed a specialization program in university teaching in Inclusive Classrooms for the Teaching of English at the Castro Carazo University. I have worked for more than 30 years as an English teacher for children, young people and adults. On some occasions I was an academic coordinator and member of the Technical Advisory Committee in the Ministry of Public Education, where I currently work. I was director of the American English and Spanish Private Institute for five years. I worked as Academic Director at the American Language Institute. Within my university experience at the public level, I was a teacher at the National Learning Institute for ten years; He also worked for the Technological Institute of Costa Rica at FUNDATEC. I held the position of English 1 teacher and coordinator at all campuses of the Universidad Hispanoamericana for eight years and four months. Since 2010 I have worked as a teacher of conversational English and English for other majors at the Castro Carazo University. At the same time I worked for Invenio University. Some subjects in which I have worked at the university level are: basic and advanced English, Child Development Growth, Composition II, Advanced Speaking Skills, General Didactics, English Grammar and Writing, Introduction to the Curriculum, Teaching and Cognition, Evaluation of Learning, General Linguistics, Literature I and II, Psychology applied to Education, Teaching of Pronunciation and Theory of Bilingual Education, Teaching of Grammar, Design of English Programs for Specific Purposes, English Grammar and Writing and Strategies Constructivists of English Learning, among others. I am a very responsible, respectful person, committed to my work, punctual, I am committed and I deliver the expected results on time, I have initiative and leadership, I like teamwork, good communication and organization.
