This course focuses on data programming. It is in many ways similar to traditional programming courses, but we will focus on topics that are more relevant for data handling. This includes data frames, selecting and filtering observations, computing summaries and making plots. The material is presented in a way that makes it suitable for those who have little-to-none coding background. Unfortunately, this also means we spend much more time on basic topics, such as functions and for loops, so students with previous coding background may find the course quite slow in the beginning.
