I am a concert pianist from Mumbai, India. I hold a Master's degree in music from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London, where I specialised in piano performance after being awarded the ‘Great Scholarship’ by the British Council in 2016. I studied primarily with Italian concert pianist Gabriele Baldocci and have had the chance to seek advice from many inspiring artists such as Pascal Rogé, Martha Fingerhut, Martino Turimo, Rolf Hind and Karl Lutchmayer just to name a few.
A joint first prize winner in the Con Brio Solo Piano Competition, I have performed in classical, contemporary classical, rock & pop styles for several private, corporate, weddings and fundraising events.
My music career along with piano performance also focuses on teaching piano, music theory & composition. I have a fun and thorough approach to teaching that incorporates a broad range of musical styles such as classical, pop, rock, improvisation, blues, and jazz in the piano lessons - designing lessons around my student’s needs, learning styles, abilities, and musical interests.
I also have a wide experience as piano accompanist. I have seldom accompanied violin, vocal, bassoon and flute candidates for practical exams up to grade 8 and on many occasions accompanied the Bow Church Choir (South East London) on the Organ or Piano.
I am currently based in Strasbourg and teaching music online (piano, music theory, composition, music production on Logic Pro X, pop vocals) full-time.
