The contrasts between two different things will be discussed in this session, with descriptions of two or more items being the focal point of the session. If you always wanted to use better descriptions when expressing yourself in English, this lesson might just be for you!
This session will discuss daily routines at school or work, as well as comparing and contrasting it with the week-end. We will use the days of the week to come up with your own routine from for each week. We will also learn some key vocabulary for this topic, such as tasks that could be performed, as well as practicing the present continuous.
This session will be centered around the purpose of the present continuous, how it should be used and when to use it. During this session we will focus on the formation of the tense, breaking down different sentences in order to better understand endings of words using -ing.
Throughout the course of the lesson there will be a mix of production exercises, with a blend of both speaking and written tasks used. For example, an event of the daily events of a business worker will be looked at, with numerous continuous verbs used. At the end of the lesson, we will also begin to discuss the continuous action in the past and future.
