I am an English teacher with many years of experience in secondary education (all levels/years). I have also taught ESL (English as a Second Language) lessons to adults in the United States and the Netherlands. I also tutor college students and primary school students. The great thing about 1-on-1 lessons is that you can really tailor them to the level of the students. I do this by first determining, together with my students, where they are now and where they want to go. Based on this I determine the lesson content. I am gradually getting to know my students better, so that I can tailor my explanations and assignments better to what suits them. In this way I help my students, little by little, to become better at English.
