Types of verbs for first grade
The verb is divided into three tenses: past tense, present tense, and imperative tense.
The first tense is the past: an action that happened and ended, where someone did something and finished it.
Example: The man drank, the boy played, the girl slept, the teacher explained, the player won.
Verbs: drank, played, slept, explained, won. All of these are past tense verbs that happened and ended.
Exercise: Put a past tense verb of your own.
Put a past tense verb in a sentence of your own.
And so the rest of the lesson ....
