Hello, I am Hanna, a native English teacher from the United States, with more than 10 years of experience, I have a Master from DePaul University in Chicago and I am certified in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Currently I teach English at all levels and all ages in Spain, by webcam as well. I have taught English in Portugal and Spain, young and old, also preparing students for the Cambridge, FCE, CAE and CPE exams, with excellent results. My main objective is the development of speaking, pronunciation and fluency skills, both with children and adults. That is why I use the direct method and the communicative method. I really enjoy training people of all ages and different levels. As a teacher, I try to understand the learning style and interests of each of my students. My classes are well structured, but they are also fun, I integrate different activities and teaching techniques in order to reach all students. I use a variety of learning sources: books, additional material, multimedia and create a warm and friendly environment in the class paying attention to the individual development of each student. I am patient, loving and positive, I plan well-thought-out interactive activities, which I guide properly while giving much freedom. For adults I offer conversation classes, using the direct method, which will help students be confident and fluent in speaking English fairly quickly, even if they don't have time to study hard. I also offer English for business, English for travel, interviews, work, and help with CVs, cover letters, speeches or presentations of research papers. In webcam classes (Skype for example) I offer structured material, upload PDF documents, text and grammar exercises, as well as links to listening practices.
