Learn how to sing comfortably and confidently! My teaching style is warm and empowering so that you can reach your goals as a singer. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to prepare for auditions, exams, or even a career, we can work together to reach new milestones in your voice. I teach primarily popular music styles, including musical theatre and jazz. We'll be a good fit if you want to work on repertoire in the genres of pop, rock, R&B, folk, jazz, musical theatre, etc... I have taught voice and music for eight years. My students have gone on to study music at leading universities. I love finding ways to help singers sing more comfortably and achieve goals they didn't think they would be able to. As a singer, I have won numerous awards and scholarships. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music Performance (Singer-Songwriter Emphasis) and an MComp in Electronic Music. I also completed coursework from the Contemporary and Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University in vocal anatomy and health. I also offer lessons in songwriting and music production and am happy to incorporate these concepts into voice lessons.
